The Covid-19 emergency unfortunately also affected families of members of the motorsport community and karting in particular.

It was just a few days after Easter that we learned about the tragic passing of the father of Ricky Flynn, owner of Ricky Flynn Motorsport, one of the most renowned teams in the international paddock, due to the complications due to the virus.

A few days later, however, according to what was learned from the Russian site SportBoxRU, Robert Shwartzman's father, Mikhail, also passed away in the same circumstances.
Robert Shwartzman started racing at the age of 5 and, having finished his long karting career in 2013, continued to climb the motorsport ranks until he became a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy and won the first edition of the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Prema Powerteam.

TKART and all his readers participate in the sorrow that hit Ricky Flynn and Robert Shwartzman and it is to them and to their families that go our thoughts and our condolences.
