Siena, 28th April 2018. The qualifying heats of the first round of the ACI Karting Italian Championship at the Circuit of Siena indicated the first candidates to win for the double finals scheduled on Sunday 29th April, with the start of Race-1 at 9.40am for all Live TV categories on AutoMotoTV (Sky channel 148) and live streaming on the site www.acisportitalia.it as well as on the Facebook page Italian ACI Karting Championship. From 2.15 pm the start of the second series of Finals with Race-2.

On the track the national categories 60 Mini and OK-Junior, and those of the Trophies of Marca Rok, Rotax, Easykart. At the absolute debut the Naskart single-brand trophy, with Righetti Ridolfi chassis and Modena Engines engines.

As was expected, the 60 Mini qualifications for the selection of the 34 finalists on the 80 participants were particularly hard fought. In the 10 heats necessary to draw the best rankings, the Norwegian Martinus Stenshorrne (Parolin-Tm), winner of three heats, together with the English Coskun Irfan (Parolin-Tm), also winner of three heats, excelled , while Andrea Filaferro (Birel-Tm) has won two heats. One heat victory went to Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Energy-Tm) and another to Flavio Olivieri (Italcorse-Tm).

In the two heats played in the OK-Junior, the victories were won by Tommaso Chiappini (Formula K-Tm) and Mattia Ingolfo (KR-Iame).

The Rok Junior and Rok Senior qualifications are also very interesting, in the two categories that among other things for the two winners of this Italian Championship 2018 Vortex has offered the prize of the free participation in Las Vegas in the Rok race on 3 November. In the two heats of the Junior Rok the victories went in both races to Matheus Morgato Alvarenga (Parolin-Vortex), in the first heat before Federico Cecchi (Tony Kart-Vortex) and in the second before Raffaele Gulizia (Tony Kart-Vortex) .

Cristian Comanducci (Tony Kart-Vortex) won the two races of the Rok Senior, in the first heat before Pietro Delli Guanti (Exprit-Vortex), in the second heat before the Polish Maciej Szyszko (Kosmic-Vortex).

Dominant of the two heats of the Rotax Brand Trophy was Davide Vuano (Praga-Rotax), in the Senior category, while in the Junior he won both heats Vincenzo Scarpetta (Parolin-Rotax).

In Easykart 125 Master, Francesco Serafini (Birel-Bmb) dominated the two qualifying heats.

For the Naskart Trophy the qualifying tests took place, the pole position was obtained by Lapo Nencetti.
