October 31, 2018 – Making the long trek from their home province of Quebec in Eastern Canada, PSL Karting has joined their dealer network in Las Vegas for the first annual ROK Cup USA ROK the RIO event. Taking place at the RIO All-Suites Hotel and Casino, 27 drivers will utilize the BirelART product line as they look to kick off the month of November with race wins and podium results in Las Vegas.

“We have a strong and talented group of drivers from all over the world that will compete with our BirelART dealers and PSL Karting programs,” explained Dominic Labrecque of BirelART North America. “We have a great dealer network who all have their own programs and contribute to their success as well of that as PSL Karting. We will be on track today for practice before we get serious tomorrow with qualifying before heat races begin.”

With competitors coming from Canada, Scotland and the United States, and competing on either the Ricciardo Kart or BirelART chassis, BirelART North America will have a presence in each and every class of competition this weekend.

Canada’s Prime Power Team will enter six competitors as Cole Newton will be the sole driver in the Micro ROK class while Cooper Simpson and Frankie Esposito do battle in Mini ROK. Mackenzie Clark and Marcello Paniccia enter the talent filled ROK Junior division with Ryan MacDermid in the mix in ROK Senior. The final Prime Power Team driver will be Xingran Tang, who enters ROK Shifter in his quest for victory.

Ricciardo Kart West Coast distributor, Phil Giebler Racing (PGR), brings a strong eight driver stable to Sin City. Focused on the senior levels of karting, Jake Drew, Phil Giebler himself and Colby Dubato will join Prime Power Team’s Ryan MacDermid in ROK Senior with Robert Heck, Cash Baxley and Nicky Hays entering the ROK Shifter ranks. Stephan Clark will fly the PGR colors in Masters ROK while Ryan Kinnear looks to top the podium in Shifter ROK Masters. Colby Dubato will be the lone entry doing double duty as he will also try his hand in the 100cc Senior class. All PGR branded drivers will race aboard the Ricciardo chassis.

Alex Keyes Racing and Full Throttle Karting bring two drivers apiece to Las Vegas from their respective California markets. Alexander Berg and Cole Gamma will compete in ROK Junior for the young and growing Alex Keyes program while on the other end of the spectrum, Full Throttle Karting enters Ed Quinn and Mike Giles in the Masters ROK class.

Eric Slivkoff enters the 100cc Senior division aboard his BirelART chassis through MDG Karting while Jordan Musser will be a threat for victory in the 3G Racing / PSL Karting entry in ROK Shifter Masters.

Competing for PSL Karting will be a strong core of drivers. Cooper Becklin and Thomas Nepveu will be a threat for the top step of the podium in ROK Junior while Ryan Norberg is always one to gamble on in Las Vegas in ROK Senior. David Greco, Owen Clarke and Isaac Marritt will enter the ROK Shifter category as well to complete the 27 driver strong program.
