The "Robert Kubica" range has been a Birel Art brand for about ten years. The RK30 model is one of the "historical" chassis, which was first approved back in 2008 (the first one in the RK range), was renewed in 2014 and is valid up to 2020. The frame was designed specifically for the KZ, but is actually valid for all classes. In the 2019 version, the geometry of the tubes and the main features are the same, but there are still innovations, designed and tested in international competitions to improve the performance of the chassis in al grip conditions.

With the end of the approval in 2020, the work performed by the Birel ART technicians on the 2019 RK version did not affect the design of the body, which remains unchanged, preferring to concentrate on the introduction of new accessories and on the material of the tubes, a fundamental point to change chassis performance.

One of the main changes concerns the area of the pedals and, in particular, the attachment for fastening the front bumper, reduced by as much as 30 mm. The new solution allows you to have a looser chassis that is less rigid at the front, which enhances the vehicle's drivability.

The Cs of the new Kubica RK 30 now have two holes, improving the fastening of the bushing that regulates the geometry of the front.

The front bumper tube attachment is shorter, with less insertion of the iron in the chassis. The shorter attachment improves the feel at the front, freeing the chassis and helping the drivers drive better.

The new steering support is stiffened thanks to the direct attachment of the two chassis tubes: the system facilitates steering wheel adjustment

The 2019 RK30 model also involved the introduction of a new steering column support, composed of two tubes fastened together by a system that allows the angle of the steering column to be adjusted. Compared to the past, the new support increases rigidity, as well as allowing a more rapid adjustment of the steering position, with just one screw needing to be adjusted: the ample play of the steering wheel allows an optimal adjustment for young drivers of the Junior classes and experienced drivers.
Another change is located on the C of the chassis, where the bushings now have a second fastening screw which increases the precision of the adjustments of the front geometries.
As for the FreeLine components, there is an absolutely new item, even on the Kubica RK 30 chassis, a new removable bar: it has two uniball at the ends, depending on the position in which it is fastened, which allow the rigidity of the front to be varied. The uniball also allows a more homogeneous and gradual rotation.
