Do you recognize the kart starting from the design of the chassis?

Max Bernardi
27 April 2020
The chassis is the base of every kart. A handful of tubes welded together according to well-defined curves, angles and geometries. At first sight the frames of the main models seem remarkably similar. This is true because for several years the design of the chassis has been basically remarkably similar. However, observing the smallest of details, the differences are there and, depending on the various cases, they can also be quite different. This is without counting the most original and unconventional solutions which, although quite rare, are never lacking in every new homologation.

Any kart enthusiast, if asked to draw the silhouette of a chassis, would know how to sketch its main lines. Yet, if they were asked to recognize the precise model from an already existing and precise design? The challenge is much more complicated than one might think. You do not believe it? Put it to the test and challenge yourself.
