If our ideal setup requires the use of the torsion bar, to take on the qualification rounds we can also remove it. Without it, in fact, the chassis will become more forgiving and performance will increase, providing more grip. In the long run, though, this modification is negative as it causes greater tire wear. Yet, since the qualifying tests usually require only a few laps and are done with new tires, removing the bar can increase our performance.
