Keeping the chassis tubes intact, especially when buying a new kart, is a priority for all enthusiasts. Even more important is to prevent any contact with curbs which could compromise a race by potentially damaging the brake disc. That is why it is so important to protect the kart, especially in its “most vulnerable”. Small accessories which, between the anti-scratch kits and disc protection slides, extend the life of the kart and all the fun you will have with a clean, well kept up, Kart.

THE UNDERSIDE OF THE CHASSIS PROTECTION OPTIONS

Wearing out the kart’s chassis, especially the underside, is normal wear and tear for every racing vehicle. It can happen when going over curbs, but this does not diminish the vehicles performance. Of course, if one wants to resell the kart or when evaluating the purchase of a used vehicle, this particular aspect becomes more relevant and certainly worth additional assessment of the Kart. To avoid this type of issue and maintain the chassis in good condition and completely intact, nylon protection accessories can be installed by fastening them to the floor plate. These devices avoid the direct contact of the chassis with the curbs thus keeping the tubes paint work and graphics intact.

ANTI-SCRATCH KIT FOR KART TROLLEY

Scratching the chassis while on the track, when racing to achieve the very best performance is a normal thing, something that all kart drivers are willing to accept. Yet, to damage the frame by rubbing against the supports of the kart transport trailer is something that can be very frustrating (especially if the kart is new and the tube’s painting is aesthetically perfect) and should be avoided in every way possible. Usually the issue is circumvented by inserting foam rubber, or tape on the Kart transport trailer supports, although this is a temporary solution which, in the long run, does not prevent the problem from reoccurring. To be sure to keep the kart in perfect condition while transporting it on the transport trailer, it is necessary to replace the iron supports with nylon ones, they are designed to avoid any types of scratches on the chassis.
