Technology allows continuous progress and innovation in every field. Karting is no exception and, in addition to the most popular and widespread solutions, there are many small details that can come to the aid of drivers, both professionals and those who just want to enjoy a few laps out on the track. The exhaust valve position sensor is one of these solutions, as is the "special" spring which returns pedals to their starting positions (the result, in this case, of ingenuity rather than of actual technology...). Let's take a look at some of the lesser known innovations that are already in use in the world of karting and, if desired, available to everyone.

EXHAUST VALVE POSITION SENSOR

CUSTOMISED SEAT

Every driver chooses the colours for their helmets. Those who can choose the driver suit and the graphics that they prefer. However, those who want to make their kart really unique can also decide to customise the seat. This can be done thanks to a special technique that prints any type of graphic onto glass fibre fabric using paints that are resistant to the solvents in resin and, therefore, stay perfectly intact even when the glass fibre is impregnated with epoxy resin. In addition to the graphics, the quality of the seat is guaranteed by GreyHound.
