The Nakakyushu Cartway was inaugurated in April 1985. It is located about 10 km from the city of Yamaka, an urban area, located in the northern part of Kumamoto prefecture. Therefore, the last 2 km arriving at the camp are very steeply distributed and, due to the Dirt mountain trail.
