Auto Sport Suisse Association (SSA) is the head of motorsport and karting in Switzerland. The international umbrella organization FIA has appointed in 2004, year of its foundation as an organization exercising national sovereignty in the field of motorsport and karting in Switzerland. In this function, the association assumes the task of ensuring that the motorsport and karting in Switzerland conforms to international law on sports in order to guarantee the kind of fair competition. The Association is also a powerful engine the automotive scene and the Swiss karting. It is with great commitment that about 3000 women pilots and licensed men and more than 500 staff are supervised, advised and encouraged. The Association aims to further develop motorsports and karting in Switzerland and ensure sustainable support through innovative solutions and partnerships. According to the agreements recognized by the FIA between the SSA and CFLA, all the powers and responsibilities of SSA also extend to the Principality of Liechtenstein.
