Supertune Brings Eleven Drivers to ROK the RIO in Las Vegas
GM

30 October 2019

Traveling across the country for the final ROK Cup USA event in North America for the 2019 season, Team Supertune will enter eleven drivers in what is set to be the biggest ever ROK Cup race in the United States. Taking on the temporary circuit adjacent to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, drivers will hit the track Wednesday for practice in attempt to be crowned ROK the RIO Champions on Saturday afternoon.

"We have a large contingent going to Las Vegas and all of them have a chance to win," explains Ben Cruttenden. "With a ton of success in 2019, we are looking to cap off the ROK Cup USA season with some more victories. Our pace in both Mini ROK and Junior ROK has been some of the best, and our results speak for themselves."

Entering six drivers in the Mini ROK class, multi-time race winner and 2019 champion Kai Sorensen will look to end his season on a high while teammates Anderson Leonard and Enzo Deligny will push him hard along the way. Xander Reed, Wyatt Vidovich and Christian Cameron will make up the remainder of the six Mini ROK drivers as the hunt for race wins continue.

Winning races in multiple different programs in 2019, John Burke enters ROK the RIO as one of the top junior drivers in the nation. With an entry list that tops forty drivers, Burke will need to battle fellow Supertune drivers Noah Baker and the Morgan brothers of Cole and Carson. Jorge Ortiz will be the fifth junior driver of the squad but will be the sole Supertune entry in the 100cc Junior class.

Cruttenden continues, "We have grown leaps and bounds throughout the past two seasons and are in a good spot with the quantity and progression of our program. Our results resume continues to grow as does the interest in our team for the upcoming season."

With drivers on track Wednesday for practice, Thursday will be the home of a morning warmup, qualifying and the first wheel-to-wheel action of the week. Friday will see competitors on track for three heat races as they set the grid for Saturday's main events. Stay tuned to the Supertune social media pages for news, information, photos and results trackside from the event.
