GM

09 September 2020

115 Rokkers took to the track at South Garda to win spectacular races with full sides.
The third round of the Rok Cup Italia marked the conclusion of the Rok Expert championship with the victory that went to the evergreen Tino Donadei.
The next round will take place in the context of the Italian ACI-Rok Championship, the first event of which is set on the Siena circuit (10-13 September) with all the Rok categories on the track (Mini, Junior, Senior, Super and Shifter).

EXPERT ROK. DONADEI FIRST CHAMPION 2020
Donadei scores two victories and takes home the Rok Cup Italia Expert Champion title.
In race 1 Donadei undermined Cogato from pole, author of a good performance on the wet track.
The podium is completed by Todeschini who beats the two international champions, Zajac and Chiari.
In race 2 we see some more overtaking, thanks to the effect of the inverted grid. Donadei does not take long to recover and he goes to take his fourth victory of the season, out of four races.
Chiari celebrates his comeback in 2020 with a nice place of honor, ahead of Zajac.
With his two victories, Donadei is the first in 2020 to pocket the ticket to run the Superfinal 2020 (14-17 October). In the championship, Cogato and Bicciolo complete the podium.

MINI ROK. PRESCIANOTTO AND PARMEGGIANI WIN AND TAKE THE LEAD
The beautiful challenges of the Mini Rok are also repeated at South Garda and the protagonists share, once again, the stakes. In race 1 Prescianotto takes the maximum points, preceding the Czech Kamenik and Pacini, finally on the podium after some unfortunate performances.
In race 2, Pacini and Coppotelli will join the winner on the podium and leader of the classification Parmeggiani. The latter conquers the first podium of Rok Italia.
The rankings will be made official after the supplement of technical checks carried out on the engines of the first that is in progress at the Vortex (article required by the regulation and implemented).

SENIOR ROK. LOCATELLI EQUALS THE ACCOUNT WITH GAGLIANÒ
The bad day of Gaglianò coincides with a super day of the young emerging Moncini and Locatelli, winners, respectively, of races 1 and 2.
On Sunday in Lonato Gaglianò finds many opponents in great shape on his way and so, in race 1, behind the winner Moncini the two Poles Zajac and Protasiewicz are placed.
In race 2 Lady Muller tries to oppose the comeback of Locatelli and Moncini with all her skill. In the end Locatelli manages to pass the Swiss, while Moncini is unable to undermine the very strong Tanja.
In the central part of the group, in race 2, Molinari, Bernardi and Gaglianò take care of showing a good repertoire of overtaking.

JUNIOR ROK. IANNIELLO WINS AND PULLS AWAY WITH ABBATE BEHIND HIM
Ianniello in Lonato scores the winning shot and takes the main race. The Lazio rider is also the fastest of all, scoring the third pole out of three races.
The first race sees Ianniello dominate in front of Marconato and Pedrini, making his debut in the Junior.
In race 2, one of the title contenders, Abbate, showed up at the top and took advantage of the grid inversion to optimize the result and collect heavy points.
For his part, Ianiello is not in a hurry, he recovers with determination and takes the place of honor and the top of the standings. Ladina grabs the podium, getting the better of Pedrini, Donno and Maman.

SUPER ROK. MACHADO AND LADY NAUDE SHINE
Race 1 in Lonato marks Machado's comeback in a big way and sees Muller and Lady Naude shine.
Cicognini and D’Abramo, two absolute protagonists of the championship, lose precious points in race 1, albeit for different reasons. D'Abramo flies out for a contact at the start and Cicognini has to stop while he was fighting for the podium.
In race 2 Cicognini crosses the finish line first but loses the success due to the nose out and Lady Kayla Naude thanks and wins in front of the outsider Gritti and D’Abramo, architect of a great recovery.
In the absolute classification Cicognini maintains a good margin in the lead with Muller and D’Abramo chasing and not at all willing to give it to the leader.

SHIFTER ROK. HOLD WINS AGAIN. BENSI BACK TO THE TOP
The Austrian Hold wins again race 1 in Lonato and retains the lead of the championship clearly, taking advantage of Vita's setback.
In race 1 Bizzozzero behaves very well and manages to contain the gap from the winner Hold. Third concludes Masciali.
In race 2 Bensi returns to success after a short absence from the top step of the podium and does so ahead of the former international champion Cinti. Bizzozzero completes an excellent day with the second consecutive podium.
