The highlight of this 2020 season for the direct-drive karts has finally arrived: the OK and OKJ FIA Karting World Championship is ready to start at the Kartodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimao. And among the more than 170 registered drivers there will also be those of the Kosmic Kart Racing Department, ready to put their progress to good use in the most important event of the year. Their ally, also this weekend, will be the Kosmic Mercury R as always equipped with Vortex engines.

As for the line-up, our standard bearers in Portimao will be 5 in total. 3 of them will be engaged in OKJ, where we will find the Frenchman Maceo Capietto lined up alongside the Belgian Ean Eyckmans and the Russian Alexander Gubenko.

Luigi Coluccio, who immediately found himself at ease on the Portuguese track at the Champion of the Future last weekend, will be the standard bearer of the Kosmic Kart Racing Department in OK. In the same category we will also find the Dane Sebastien Gravlund, joining our team in his second race.

To stay updated on the results of the Kosmic Kart Racing Department during the world championship, the official FIA Karting website will provide the full live-timing of all the sessions on the track. On the Youtube channel, the live streaming will also be available from Saturday until the finals on Sunday.
