Robert Kubica and George Russell will race in the 2019 Formula One World Championship and both will compete with Williams Racing, one of the most prestigious and important teams in Formula One.

At the beginning of their careers, both Kubica and Russell represented Birel’s colours: George competed in KF in 2013, his last year in karting before his switch to the single-seater competitions; Robert finished the 2000 World Championship (Formula A category) in the top four. The relationship between Kubica and Birel also continued in the following years: the Kubica Racing Kart brand was born in 2009 covering the entire category range, from the Mini to Rotax and CIK-FIA classes (OKJ, OK and KZ).
