[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n collaboration with a company from Brescia, Roberto Vanaria has developed the hardware and software of this new radio timing system to be mounted directly on rental karts. Thanks to a sort of "transponder", it is possible to manage each individual kart, deciding whether to slow down one or more karts, rather than stopping a Kart.
The system can be enhanced by connecting it to a database that handles both customer credit (using an electronic form), and the system’s accounting records, allowing a track’s manager to check the receipts on a daily basis, even remotely.
The system also takes the condition of the vehicles and their maintenance in the workshop into account.
Finally, it is possible to set different driving stints thanks to this "enhancement", (races, free practice sessions, etc.) and show a timing monitor to the spectators at a track
