Giorgio Sernagiotto a Jesolo
Michele Panzera
07 March 2018

We met him at the Jesolo track, engaged in a photo shoot for a magazine. Giorgio Sernagiotto, born in 1982, is currently the official driver of the Cetilar Villorba Corse team, behind the wheel of a Dallara P217 LMP2, a monster with over 600 bhp for just over 890 kg. "The 2018 season is positive for the team, last year we debuted in the European Le Mans series in the LMP2 category where we achieved good results closing, in a couple of occasions, in the TOP 5. We also participated in the 24h of Le Mans where we have completed ninth absolute and seventh in the category. For 2018 we will receive a new aerodynamic kit to solve some small problems. We will still be doing the 24h of Le Mans. "

Like most of the drivers, Sernagiotto's career started on the karts, right on the Jesolo track: "It was fundamental for my growth, starting from the Mini category up to the 100 Formula A, with the PCR." Among the best results there is a podium at the Winter Cup 1999 and a victory at the autumn trophy, still on the track of Lonato, where he still often trains himself. This demonstrate, once again, that the karting is the best way of training for any driver because it keep fit both the body and mind and concentration.
