KZ2: Adrien Renaudin leads Sodi one-two

Adrien Renaudin has taken the victory in the opening round of KZ2 in WSK Super Master Series that took place at South Garda Karting in Lonato.
In prefinal A, Bas Lammers was the best taking the victory ahead of Marjin Kremers (Birel ART / TM Racing / Bridg) and Adrien Renaudin (SodiKart / TM Racing / Bridg).
In prefinal B, Paolo de Conto (CRG / TM Racing / Bridg) was the best after a close battle with Alex Irlando (Birel ART / TM Racing / Bridg) and Giuseppe Palomba (Croc Promotion / TM Racing / Brdig).
In the final, strong race start by Paolo de Conto who overtook Bas Lammers in the first lap. De Conto tried to keep the pace from the SodiKarts but that was not possible as the Italian lost the lead and finished in 4th position.
Lammers was in the lead after overtaking De Conto on lap 8, but that lead was lost immediately with his team mate Adrien Renaudin who passed the Dutch driver and lead until the end of the race.
Bas Lammers finished second while Marjin Kremmers from Birel ART Racing Team overtook Paolo De Conto for the final step of the podium.

OK: Patterson the smartest, wins in Lonato




Dexter Patterson has taken the victory in the OK final at Lonato for the second round of the WSK Super Master Series.
Busy day for OK class, with 2 heats, prefinals and the final. Like yesterday, Gabriele Minì (Parolin / TM Racing /Vega) continued his domination in the qualifying heats. The Sicilian driver was the best after all qualifying heats, taking the pole position for prefinal A. Swedish driver Dino Beganovic (Tony Kart / Vortex / Vega) was the second best in the qualifying heats, taking the pole position for prefinal B.
Already in the prefinal A, Lorenzo Travisanutto (KR / IAME / Brdig) from HTP Kart Team won the prefinal ahead of Tony Kart’s of Noah Milell (Tony Kart / Vortex / Bridg) and Spanish Genís Cívico (Crocpromotion / TM Racing / Bridg).
In prefinal B, Dino Beganovic dominated from light-to-flag taking the victory by 1.5 seconds ahead of Taylor Barnard (KR / IAME / Bridg) and Luigi Coluccio (Birel ART / TM Racing / Bridg).
The final was a combat between world champion Lorenzo Travisanutto, Noah Milell and Dexter Patterson.
Travisanutto took the lead at turn 1, while Dino Beganovic made a poor start and dropped to ninth place. Despite that Swede managed to comeback to finish third overall.
Meanwhile in the lead Travisanutto was overtaken by Noah Milell on lap 4. The Swede was looking for his maiden victory at this international level but this did not happen. Dexter Patterson had more pace and beat everyone, taking the victory ahead of Travisanutto and Beganovic.

OKJ: Jamie Day takes maiden victory in WSK Super Master




Jamie Day has taken the victory in the final of OK Junior, in the second round of WSK Super Master Series at South Garda Karting in Lonato.
In prefinal A, Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart / Vortex / Vega) was untouchable. The Russian driver had no rival and easily won ahead of Andrey Zhivnov (Kosmic / Vortex / Vega) and Thomas Ten Brinke (FA Kart / Vortex / Vega). In prefinal B, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR / IAME / Vega) did the same dominating from lights-to-flag, second finished Artem Severiukhin (Tony Kart / Vortex / Vega) from Ward Racing while Ugo Ugochukwu (FA Kart / Vortex / Vega) completed the top3.
In the final Andrea Kimi Antonelli started from pole position and kept the lead at the start. The Italian was able to keep Nikita Bedrin behind him for 7 laps, but the Tony Kart Racing Team driver finally beat the Rosberg Racing Academy driver. Antonelli also had to stop in the pit lane because he received the black flag with the orange disc.
Bedrin was in a solid lead but, Artem Severiukhin (Tony Kart / Vortex / Vega) was catching him. The Swede driver in the last lap finally challenged the Russian driver with whom made contact. Both drivers suffered a huge impact and had to retire.
This gave the victory to the British driver Jamie Day (Exprit / Vortex / Vega) from Lennox Racing Team. He finished ahead of Thomas Ten Brinke and Andrey Zhivnov.
In the championship battle, Andrea Antonelli is up in the lead with 94 points thanks to the victory in the prefinal. He is 4 points ahead of Ten Brinke, while Chaves who did not classified for the final is third in the championship with 5 points less than Antonelli.

MINI: Al Dhaheri wins a red-flagged race




Rashid Al Dhaheri has taken the victory in Mini category after a photo finish final with four drivers. Al Dhaheri thanks to this victory at Lonato takes the lead of the WSK Super Master Series.
In prefinal A, Rashid Al Dhaheri dominated the race ahead of Andrea Filaferro and Ean Eyckmans. In prefinal B, Akash Bohra won ahead of Alex Powell and Lucas Fluxá.
The final had a very bad start with an unfortunate crash that involved three drivers: Tom Braeken (Baby Race Driver Academy), Dion Gowda (Baby Race Driver Academy) and Juan Francisco Soldavini (Novalux Racing Team).
The crash caused an immediate red-flag. The race had to be stopped for almost an hour.
When the green flag finally arrived, Rashid Al Dhaheri kept the lead from lights-to-flag but it was not an easy job. The Parolin driver had to keep the lead in an intense battle in the last turn where he crossed the line next to 4 drivers with only 0.185 seconds of gap between Al Dhaheri and the fourth classified.
Ean Eyckmans (Baby Race Driver Academy) finished second ahead of Andrea Filaferro (Newman Motorsport) and Alex Powell (Energy Corse).
