WSK Super Master Series: the fastest after the Heats
Max Bernardi
03 February 2018

GREAT CHALLENGES ON THE WET IN ADRIA.
The 262 drivers on track in Adria for the 1st round of the WSK Super Master Series had one additional rival: the winter weather, cold temperatures and wet tarmac that has been common in the 23 qualifying heats run today. The races leading into Prefinals being ended, now it is time to have a look at the starting grids that have been defined so far. Nothing can still be said regarding the outcome of Finals though, as the better weather conditions forecast for tomorrow, with higher temperatures, could still shuffle the cards once more.

THE LIVE STREAMING BY WSK.IT NOT TO BE MISSED.
All ingredients for a great spectacle are in the mix, and further surprising results cannot be excluded for tomorrow. The racing day will feature 7 Prefinals and 4 Finals for categories OK, OK Junior, KZ2 and 60 Mini at the Adria Karting Raceway. The karting spectacle will be brought all over the world by the images produced by WSK Promotion starting from 10:50 (time of the first Prefinal) on wsk.it and on the official facebook page.

VIDALES CHARGING IN OK.
The Spanish driver David Vidales (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone) has been uncatchable on the wet and claimed three wins in the heats that earned him a pole position start for Prefinal A. Alongside him on the front row, the British World Champion of OKJ Dexter Patterson (Exprit-TM) did not win heats but always secured good results. The pole position of Prefinal B went to the German Hannes Janker (KR-Parilla), who will have the French Vincent Fraisse (Sodi Kart-TM) next to him. Both drivers ended the day with one win.

FULL HAUL FOR ABBASSE IN KZ2.
The French driver Anthony Abbasse (Sodi Kart-TM-Bridgestone) claimed three wins in as many races, after taking it easy yesterday he waited for the heats today to show his competitiveness and take the pole position of the KZ2 Prefinal. Next to him in the front row, fellow-countryman and team mate Adrien Renaudin, constantly ended the heats in the top three. The second row of the grid will be occupied by two young emerging Italians: Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart-Vortex), who has already switched to F.4, and Alex Irlando (Sodi Kart-TM). Both drivers seem to have the speed to secure the win.
VEZZARO STILL PUSHING IN OK JUNIOR.
The Argentine driver Isidoro Vezzaro (Tony Kart-LKE-Vega), who already dominated practice yesterday, confirmed to be on top of OK Junior, without leaving much room to his rivals in the 4 heats run and won today. The young South American secured therefore the pole position of Prefinal A. He will be joined on the front row by Harry Thompson (FA Kart-Vortex), as the latter took one victory. The pole position of Prefinal B went to Paul Aron (FA Kart-Vortex), who ended his day with two wins. Alongside him, the Russian Kirill Smal (Tony Kart-Vortex) secured several strong results.
KUCHARCZYK ON TOP IN 60 MINI.
Tymoteusz Kucharczyk (Parolin-TM) is the pace setter in 60 Mini: the Polish driver claimed two wins today that earned him the pole position of Prefinal A. The driver from Singapore Christian Ho (Tony Kart-TM) won one heat and will start next to him. Brando Badoer (Parolin-TM), son of former Ferrari F.1 driver Luca Badoer, secured the pole position of Prefinal B. Badoer won one race and will be joined on the front row by the Swede Joel Bergstrom (IP Karting-TM), who won two heats.
