WSK SUPER MASTER SERIES - 2nd ROUND: KFJ FINAL, BAIZ WINS
TKART Staff
12 April 2014

HOT NEWS - TKART - WSK SUPER MASTER SERIES - CASTELLETTO DI BRANDUZZO -Mauricio Baiz (Exprit/Vortex) in a way is playing on his "home" turf, considering he trains often on this track, and the results show it. The South American driver starts in the lead confirms the great performance displayed all weekend long. He wins, dominating the field Vince dominando and never running the risk of seeing his glory hopes go up in smoke. Mick Jr. (Tony Kart/Vortex) also does an excellent start, puncing up three positions and claiming second place, which he will defend the whole race until the checkered.

Lombardo (Exprit/Vortex), who often trains in Castelletto like his winning teammate Baiz (they both wear RB colors),  almost lands on the podium, running third for a good deal of the race, but in the end doesn't make it because behind him there is a super fast Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart/TM) who passes him up mid-way though the race. Lombardo's fourth place finish is, in any case,an excellent result, since he is basically a rookie in KFJ. Instead, Logan Sargeant (Fa Kart/Vortex) is fifth up and this for him is a bitter result, after his excellent qualifyings and heats. The cause of his hampered performance, just like for other KF competitors, was the start from the ourside lane, which in this circuit is rather challengeing. Those who drop down considerably are  Raspatelli (Tony Kart/TM) and Vartanyan (Tony Kart/Vortex), who end 25th and 27th.
