Heats ended, all ready for the finals in La Conca.

Strong wind gusts that cleared the cloudy sky of the morning have characterized the qualifying day at the World Circuit La Conca: the victory of round 3 of the WSK Super Master Series is up for grabs in Muro Leccese (LE) in a weekend that will award solid points for the classification of the 4 categories KZ2, OK, OK Junior and 60 Mini. In the photo above, the start of one of today's heats.

Drivers ready for the final stages in live streaming.

The 235 drivers at the start will challenge each other in the morning Prefinals leading into the Finals to be held in the afternoon. Finals are the most awaited moment of the Muro Leccese weekend for the enthusiastic crowd present. As usual, all fans, even the farthest, could also follow the round of La Conca through live streaming starting with Prefinals at 10:50.

De Conto charging in KZ2.

The Italian Paolo De Conto (above, CRG-TM-Bridgestone) could need make his intentions any clearer: two wins in the three heats of KZ2 earned him a pole position start in the Prefinal. The Finn Simo Puhakka (Tony Kart-Vortex) has also shown great speed: two second places are worth the second spot of the grid alongside De Conto. The Finn put therefore his name forward as main rival of the Italian driver. The Czech Patrik Hajek (Kosmic-Vortex) also had a great day, as he won one heat and secured the second row of the grid, while Matteo Viganò (Tony Kart-Vortex), another driver to keep an eye on, will start on his side.

Nielsen and Travisanutto on top of OK.

Three wins in the heats placed Nicklas Nielsen (above, Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone) on top of the provisional classification of OK. The pole position of Prefinal A went in fact to the Dane, who will have the British Jonny Edgar (Exprit-Vortex) on his side in P2 thanks to a win in the heats. The Italian Lorenzo Travisanutto (KR-Parilla) also secured one win and two second places, which earned him the pole position of Prefinal B. The Czech Roman Stanek (Kosmic-Vortex) will join him on the front row.

Beganovic and Minì battling in OK Junior.

The Swede Dino Beganovic, in the photo above, ended the day with the full haul of 4 wins, which earned him the pole position of Final A. Kirill Smal (both on Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) claimed one win today and will start next to him. Gabriele Minì (Parolin-Parilla-Vega) will try to challenge them for the victory from the pole position of Prefinal B. He secured in fact one win and three second places in the heats. The British Josh Dufek (Exprit-TM), who also claimed one heat victory, will start next to the Italian.

Antonelli and Cimenes polemen of 60 Mini.

The Italian Andrea Antonelli (above, Energy-TM-Vega), who started with the clear objective of climbing up the 60 Mini’s classification, took the first step today securing the pole position of Prefinal A, thanks to two wins. The British driver Coskun Irfan (Parolin-TM) took one victory and will start next to him. The Italian Jacopo Cimenes (EvoKart-TM) also won one heat and will start his home race from the pole position of Prefinal B. The Argentine Francisco Soldavini (Parolin-TM) will start alongside him in the front row.
