WSK Euro Series, rd 2-3, Lonato: Qualifying - Pole position for Kremers and Albanese (KZ2), Turney and Antonelli (OK), Badoer and Ugochukwu (OKJ), Nakamura-Berta and Costoya (Mini)

The double race week of the WSK Euro Series kicks off at South Garda Karting with the timed pracitces of both the last two rounds. Today the day continues with the Qualifying Heats valid for the second round which will end tomorrow, while from Friday we start with the Qualifying Heats valid for the third round which will continue until Saturday, the day in which all the pre-finals will take place. On Sunday the drivers will be back on track to compete for both finals and the title of OK and OKJ Italian Champion in conjunction with the final of the second round.

KZ2: Pole for Kremers and Albanese on their first race in the Euro Series

The pole position of round 2 goes to the new European KZ Champion Marijn Kremers (Birel ART Racing - Ricciardo Kart - TM Racing) who precedes his teammates Giuseppe Palomba (Birel ART Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing) and Riccardo Longhi ( Birel ART Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing). Paolo Ippolito (CRG - CRG - TM Racing) and Jeremy Iglesias (Formula K Racing Team - Formula K - TM Racing) close the top five while Taylor Barnard (Rosberg Racing Academy - KR - IAME), 15th and debut in KZ2 , just precedes the European Champion of the category Viktor Gustavsson(Leclerc By Lennox Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing).

The best in the qualifying valid for the third round is Danilo Albanese (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME), who goes almost a tenth faster than Jeremy Iglesias, the best of the second session. Giuseppe Palomba is third ahead of Tom Leuillet (Praga Kart Racing Team - Prague - TM Racing) and Mirko Torsellini (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME). Alex Irlando (Birel ART Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing), 23rd in the qualifying valid for the 2nd round, gets the seventh time in front of Viktor Gustavsson while Marijn Kremers finishes in twelfth place.

OK: best time for Joseph Turney and Andrea Kimi Antonelli

Joseph Turney (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) gets the pole position in qualifying valid for the second round ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) and Nikita Bedrin (Ward Racing - Tony Kart - Vortex). James Wharton (Parolin Racing Kart - Parolin - TM Racing) also did well, 4th ahead of Juho Valtanen (Pantano Team - KR - IAME) and Charlie Wurz (Exprit Racing Team - Exprit - Vortex). Cristian Bertuca (Birel ART Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing), on his debut in the category, obtained the 13th time.

In the qualifying valid for the third round, Andrea Kimi Antonelli is ahead of everyone with a time of 46.055. Nikita Bedrin this time is second ahead of Joseph Turney, Juho Valtanen and Luigi Coluccio (Kosmic Kart Racing Department - Kosmic - Vortex). Matheus Morgatto (Birel ART Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing), James Wharton and Charlie Wurz, respectively 6th, 7th and 8th confirmed themselves in the top-ten, with Cristian Bertuca improving on the qualifying valid for the second round finishing in tenth position. Oliver Gray (Leclerc By Lennox Racing - Birel ART - TM Racing) does not make great strides, 16th in the second round qualifying and 14th in the third round qualifying.

OKJ: Brando Badoer returns to Pole together with Ugo Ugochukwu

Brando Badoer (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) showcases once again his skills the flying lap and with a time of 47.594 wins the pole position of the 2nd round in front of the European Champion of the category Ugo Ugochukwu (Sauber karting Team - KR - IAME) and Harley Keeble (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex). The leader of the classification Igor Cepil (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) is in fourth position in front of Alfio Spina (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) and Dion Gowda (Ricky Flynn Motorsport - Kosmic - Vortex). On the other hand, Arvid Lindblad (KR Motorsport - KR - IAME) finishes 19th while we have to go down to 40th position to find Freddie Slater (Ricky Flynn Motorsport - Kosmic - Vortex).

Ugo Ugochukwu, on the other hand, will always start from the first box in the Qualifying Heats of the third round. Behind the American, in order, we find Arvid Lindblad, Brando Badoer, Nikola Tsolov (DPK Racing - KR - IAME), Dion Gowda and Valerio Rinicella (Parolin Racing Kart - Parolin - TM Racing). Coskun Irfan (Ricky Flynn Motorsport - Kosmic - Vortex), 7th, precedes Tuukka Taponen (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex), who improves the 13th position obtained in the first qualifying of the day, while Rashid Al Dhaheri (Parolin Racing Kart - Parolin - TM Racing) enters the top-10 in ninth position ahead of Alfio Spina.

MINI: Ups and downs for Kean Nakamura-Berta, on Pole with Christian Costoya

The leader of the classification Kean Nakamura-Berta (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME) obtained the best time of the qualifying valid for the second round in 52.942. Behind the Japanese, in order, we find Andres Cardenas (Energy Corse - Energy - TM Racing), Nik Sculac (Praga Kart Racing Team - Prague - TM Racing), Christian Costoya (CRG - CRG - TM Racing) and Francesco Amendola (Revolution Motorsport - Energy - TM Racing), which closes the top-5. 16th time for Jan Przyrowsky (AV Racing - Parolin - TM Racing), currently second in the general classification

Christian Costoya instead won the pole position valid for the Qualifying Heats of the third round, ahead of Mark Kastelic (Team Driver Racing Kart - KR - IAME and Andres Cardenas. Step forward for the two Tony Kart official drivers James Egozi (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex) and Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart Racing Team - Tony Kart - Vortex), respectively fourth and seventh. Fifth the Finnish Kimi Tani (LA Motorsport - Intrepid - TM Racing) while Kean Nakamura-Berta closes 18th .
