WSK CHAMPIONS CUP: DENNIS HAUGER WINS FINAL RACE AND CHAMPIONSHIP

HOT NEWS - TKART - MURO LECCESE (ITALY) - Dennis Hauger (CRG/LKE) wins the final race and takes the WSK Champions Cup for the Mini. The Norwegian does a great job of getting his way over Leonardo Marseglia (CRG/LKE), as the Italian gets swept away by the intense chaos of the final beats and slides into sixth.

What a surprise ending, considering that Marseglia started the race from pole position and kept in the lead until the last lap, when he came under violent attack and lost all victory hopes, in the race and in the title hunt. The attacker bears the name of Marzio Moretti (Tony Kart/Vortex): aside from the aggressive move on the Gamoto leader, the Italian did a clean race until the end and took second place.
The last step of the podium goes to a rear starter, Rocco Negro (Tony Kart/LKE). The driver took off from P10, row 5, but for a while even got to lead the race. His third place podium finish is in any case a great success.

Instead, Giuseppe Fusco (Lenzo/LKE) doesn’t seem on the ball. It’s true, he makes up for a mistake in the  prefinal mistake with a hefty climb that ends in fifth place, but he never seemed to be in the condition to reach the leaders. Round one winner Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/LKE) ends seventh, at the end of a weekend that was less convincing  than a week ago, seeing the title slip from his hands by 12 points.
