The ninth edition of the Easykart Panamerican Championship raced last weekend in Maracay, in Venezuela. The home honors went to Easykart Deporte, importer and promoter of the the Easykart project in Venezuela with the blessings of the NACAM FIA, Venezuela’s Federation. Over 120 drivers across 5 categories: 50 Training, 60cc, 100cc, 125 Light and 125 Heavy.

In the 60cc Guillermo Pestano is the winner but his engine is deemed non-compliant and his victory passes on to Santiago Terife. In the 100cc it’s a known name of international karting who dominates: Mauricio Baiz. In the 125cc classes, the Heavy triumph goes to Antonio Navega, while it is Miguel Blanco who claims the Light victory. A grand show as always was put on by the little guys of the 50cc Training, the champions of tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, in 2013 the X Easykart Panamerican Championship will race in Colombia.
