Safety first of all: a notion we’ve heard before, but that often doesn’t carry through. We decided to explore the various “sectors” that shape the safety of karters each and every day: helmets, clothing, accessories, karts and tracks. We covered each one of these topics in depth, discovering (and sharing with you) special videos on crash tests performed on helmets, frontal fairings, suits and neck collars. We also turned to experts of the field to ask them about regulatory requirements, curios facts, experiments and future developments of karting safety, to bring you a truly special dossier.
On the number 15 issue of TKartWeb we also explore the sci-fi structures that populate international paddocks, we get up close and personal with the winners of the WSK Final Cup that recently ran in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia, Italy) and we bring you detailed race reports from the latest track events in France and Great Britain. As always, we also feature utility columns, zooming inon the rear wheel hub by Formula K and asking four experts to answer the question of the month. Plus, an impossible dare (Kart vs Tractor puller), a story from bygone days (Roberto Toninelli and his fading World, 1996) and many useful facts are also part of a rich new issue of TKartWeb, the interactive, digital and English-language magazine.
Here is a video presentation of the issue:
