It has been a very long week of practices under continuos weather changing conditions and SodiKart Middle East brought his drivers almost every day on track in order to make them ready and fit for the race. The race day was extremely windy and cloudy but all our drivers were ready for it.

Lina Huon as every race showed her beautiful smile despite the whole week end she suffered a big issue with her engine.
She gave her best and despite all her commitment, the result was not really what the whole team was expecting but she will be ready for sure for round 5 at Ras Al Khaimah.
Come on Lina keep it up!!

JUNIOR
We are sure that few months ago nobody would have expected the improvement of Constantin Reisch showed especially in the last month.
Constantin (aka Tatin) showed a total dedication and commitment, working really hard with his coach Danny Brand during the whole week and he impressed everybody for his pace.
A good P3 in qualifying which was affected by some mistakes otherwise Tatin could have reached even a better position.
Heat 1 saw Tatin starting very well and chasing the leader and once his competitor in front got a technical issue, he promptly took the lead and kept the position till the end winning his first ever Heat here in the Uae.
Prefinal saw our driver starting from the pole and he showed a good pace setting the second best lap time of the race and a final result of P3 which was promising really well for the final.
Concentration was very high but the start was not really perfect and loosing some positions but we all know Tatin and he started to recover with an impressive pace. Some contacts and the huge race experience of the competitors did not allow Tatin to recover more and after finishing P4 he got a 10 sec penalty for his front bumper.
The good part is that Tatin showed to belong on the top and we are sure that his dedication will pay off! As we always say to him FORZA FORZA FORZA!!!! Bravo and be proud of yourself!

SENIOR
The most waited race saw a line up of 4 Sodi Kart drivers: Omar Alami and Enzo Fontanella Senior - Prashant Kochhar and Ludovic Huon Master X30
Qualifying session very competitive and good performances from our drivers with Omar Alami P2

[one_half_last]
Enzo Fontanella P5 Prashant Kochhar P11 and P4 on Master Ludovic Huon P16 and P6 Master
Heat 1 was really tough and Enzo gained one position and finished therefore P4 meanwhile Omar has been involved in some fights losing some position and at the end he crossed the finish line in P8. Our master driver Ludovic P13 and Prashant unfortunately has been involved in a incident and did not finish the Heat
Pre Final was full of contacts and incidents but Enzo managed to finish P3 and immediately behind him Omar after a great recovery but unfortunately a front bumper penalty dropped him to P8. Again a good race for Ludovic who confirmed his P13 and Prashant P15 coming from the back of the grid.
Thrilling final race at Al Forsan with a good start of our drivers and Enzo on the lead after few laps forced to a tough defense of his position due to his competitors ready to make a move. Enzo gained some gap but at two laps to go his competitors were again back and with a dramatic last lap Enzo won the race after his competitor paid a penalty.
Omar was again fast (second quickest on track) but some “arguable” contacts and one incident which involved our driver dropped him inevitably till P10
Ludo and Prashant faced a not lucky final race and both of them they did not finish the race.

SHIFTER
Fraser Rose started very well his day with a superb P2 on qualifying.
The whole race showed some problems at the start but Fraser has been capable to recover every time on P3 and the final result was a deserved podium.
Good Job for the Sodi Driver who is showing a good improvement and hopefully he can close more and more the gap with the leader.

Team Manager Luigi Gariano:" it has been a good week end looking at the performances of our drivers. I would like to thank our Technical Director Danny Brand who helped all drivers on improving their driving style and I would say that in one month we can already notice the goodness of his job here at Sodi Kart Middle East. A big thank also to our main sponsor TAG HEUER, our technical sponsor LIQUI MOLY and our partner PREMIER INN ABU DHABI.”
