Paolo De Conto (CRG / TM Racing) is the new KZ World Champion

De Conto - already the reigning World Champion, for the second year in a row. The Italian started from 4^th position on the grid and almost immediately got onto the back of race leader Anthony Abbasse (Sodikart / TM Racing).

The French driver passed both Jeremy Iglesias (Formula K / TM Racing) and Patrick Hajek (Kosmic / Vortex) who both soon made contact and then retired.

At this point the battle started to rage between Abbasse who led up until Lap 7. De Conto then took advantage of an error made by Abbasse in turn 2 to get by in the 3rd last turn of that very lap. In the following laps right through until the race end it was a battle of millimetres with no room for error by anyone. Both drove a perfect race separated at the most by just 3 tenths of a second.

Ben Hanley (Croc Promotions / TM Racing) drove an incredible race, the Englishman came storming through from grid 13 taking advantage also of the aforementioned retirements finishing just a few tenths off the leaders but unable to mount a challenge.
