The Qualifying day for WSK Open Cup has reflected who will be on top in the following races and has shown the new driver line-ups as well.

KZ2: Everything opened-up in KZ2

A very intense qualifying practice finished with the pole position of Giacomo Pollini (Formula K/TM Racing/Bridg) with a lap-time of 46.743 seconds, beating Giuseppe Palomba (Birel Art/TM Racing/Bridg) by almost two tenths.

Later during the afternoon and closing the track action for today, Giuseppe Palomba dominated most of the race despite being challenged by Alessio Lorandi (Parolin/TM Racing/Bridg) who managed to get the lead. But Palomba replied swiftly and overtook Lorandi again for the victory.

OK: Ward Racing dominates qualifying day

In OK, Kirill Smal (Tony Kart/Vortex/Bridg) beat his teammate Kajus Siksnelis (Tony Kart/Vortex/Bridg) in group one for pole position during qualifying practice series 1. The lap-time of the Russian of 47.249 seconds was unbeatable. Not even Joe Turney (Tony Kart/Vortex/Bridg) could beat the Ward Racing driver during group 2.

The reigning world champion, Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart/Vortex/Bridg) who joined Tony Kart together with Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart/Vortex/Bridg) managed to finish in twelfth place overall.

During the afternoon, two heats took part with Heat A-B led by Joe Turney. The official driver from Tony Kart led the whole race but received a penalty for jump-start leaving the victory in hands of Smal. In heat C-D, Kajus Siksnelis led most of the race but he then had to fight against Travisanutto and the new Ward Racing driver Noah Degnbol (Tony Kart/Vortex/Bridg), who managed to overtake both drivers to win the Heat.

OKJ: Antonelli on pole position

Despite the rain during the testing days, today the OKJ drivers had to fight for pole position in a very dry track. Artem Severiukhin (Tony Kart/Vortex/Vega) started setting the provisional pole position with a lap-time of 48.975 seconds. It was a lap that then was improved by the new Sauber junior driver, Christian Ho (KR/Iame/Vega) and then by the Rosberg Racing Academy driver, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR/Iame/Vega) who set the pole position with a lap-time of 48.324 seconds.

Then during the heats, in heat C-E Artem Severiukhin and the new Kart Republic driver, Martinius Stenshorne (KR/Iame/Vega) battled for the victory that finally finished in the hands of the Russian. The Russian domination continued on track as Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart/Vortex/Vega) made a good comeback to win in front of Arvid Linblad (KR/Iame/Vega), who left Forza Racing to join Kart Republic.

Mini: New leaders join Al Dhaheri and Tsolov

Like it happened in OKJ, the qualifying practice series pole sitter was set during the final group where Nikola Tsolov (Parolin/TM Racing/Vega) who already has been recovered by the nasty crash that he suffered during the Night Race in Adria, set the pole position with a lap-time of 53.880 seconds. The Bulgarian beat Jan Przyrowsky (Parolin/TM Racing/Vega) and Kiano Blum (Parolin/TM Racing/Vega).

In the heats, Tsolov beat Oleksander Bondarev (Tony Kart/TM Racing/Vega) in heat A-B while heat C-D Manuel Scognamiglio (Tony Kart/TM Racing/Vega) fought with Kiano Blum for the lead but at half-point of the race, when Scognamiglio was overtaken by Blum, he then had a contact with Francesco Marenghi (Energy/TM Racing/Vega) who had to retire. Finally in heat E-F, Rashid Al Dhaheri (Parolin/TM Racing/Vega) dominated thanks to the battle for second place between Enzo Tarnvanichkul (Parolin/TM Racing/Vega) and Kirill Kutskov (energy/TM Racing/Vega).
