Lorenzo Travisanutto lead from lights-to-flag to take his first ever victory in WSK Euro Series in OK class. The CV Performance driver managed to hold on Dexter Patterson for and Dilano Van T’Hoff.

Despite starting from pole position for the prefinal, Lorenzo Travisanutto (KR/Iame/Bridg) was not able to keep Kart Republic team mate, Taylor Barnard (KR/Iame/Bridg) at the start of the race. But the reigning world champion on lap 3 already overtook the British driver to an incredible pace to win the prefinal for almost 3 seconds.

Behind the Italian, Dexter Patterson (KR/Iame/Bridg) continued his comeback from the crash that he suffered during manche 1. The Sauber Karting driver managed to step up a total of 7 positions during the 17 laps of the prefinal, finishing 4th, just behind DIlano Van T’Hoff (Exprit/TM Racing/Bridg).

In the final, Travisanutto this time managed to keep Taylor Barnard behind. Both Kart Republics were in the lead just ahead of Dilano Van T’Hoff and Dexter Patterson.

Already on lap 2, Van T’Hoff and Patterson overtook Barnard for second and third place. Patterson managed also to overtake Van T’Hoff for second.

Then the race was all about controlling the pace. Travisanutto did not made any mistake despite the incredible pressure from Patterson and Van T’Hoff who could not do anything to overtake the Italian.

Therefore, Lorenzo Travisanutto won ahead of Dexter Patterson and Dilano Van T’hoff.

In the driver’s standings Lorenzo Travisanutto overtakes Dino Beganovic for the championship lead. The Italian now have 127 points while Beganovic has 105 points. Behind them is Dilano Van T’Hoff with 85 points.

The next round of WSK Euro Series will be at the classis South Garda Karting at Lonato, from 20th to 23rd of June.
