Italian F4 Championship: Schumacher wins Race A-B at Misano. 2nd Guzman, 3rd Correa

On a track that eventually dried, after changeable conditions that presented drivers with both a wet and dry circuit throughout free practice and qualifying. The race did not disappoint with coutless passing through the entire field throughout the entire race.

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]fter recording the second quickest time in qualifying. Mick Schumacher (Prema Power Team) took the first win of the new season by coming first in Race A-B at Misano. The young German made a brilliant start off the line and immediately started attacking the poleman Marcos Siebert (Jenzer Motorsport), who defended the lead superbly. The decisive move for victory eventually came on the fourth lap and from this moment the German held the race lead to the chequered flag.
From grid 7, Guzman (DR Formula) put in a great perfomance the entire race. Not only did he set the fastest lap of the race, but stormed to finish in second position.
A great third place for the debutant Correa (Prema Power Team), the first driver in the Rookie Trophy demonstrated that he has the speed to race at the level alongside Schumacher

and Guzman, just needing to improve his consistency.
Speaking of the debutants, credit must be given to Simone Cunati (Vincenzo Sospiri Racing), who finished second in the Rookie Trophy right behind Correa after starting back on grid 11. Third position in the Rookie Trophy for Juri Vips (Prema Power Team).
Fifth place was the Jenzer Motorsport driver, who started out of pole position. Marcos Siebert dropping down the order from his top grid spot in this opening race.
Immediately behind Siebert in sixth position was Joao Vieira (Antonelli Motorsport) followed by Juri Vips, both of them showing great speed both lapping under 1:36, a laptime only achieved by the first four classified drivers.
