Spectacular best time of Cunati in KZ2, in the MINI Internazionale same time for Nakamura and Przyrowski. In the National Mini Sala shines and the same does Malek in the IAME X30 Junior, Comanducci is confirmed in the IAME X30 Senior.

With 162 registered drivers, the second round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship is taking place on the Naples International Circuit, which sees the KZ2, MINI Gr.3 Internazionale, 60 Mini, IAME X30 Junior and Senior take to the 1547 meters of the Sarno (Salerno)

Excellent numbers that already promise a show, at least from what we saw from the preview of the timed practice on Friday afternoon. Saturday 29 August will be the turn of the qualifying heats, Sunday 30 August the double finals of each category for Race 1 and to follow Race 2 (with the grid reversed in the first 8 positions compared to the arrival order of Race 1) live on TV from 9 am: 40 and from 13:40, on MS MotorTV (Sky channel 228 and digital terrestrial), in streaming on the website and Facebook page of the Italian Championship @ACIKarting.

In KZ2 great performance by Cunati, ahead of Palomba and De Marco.
In KZ2 it was a very fast and determined Simone Cunati on BirelART-TM with Team Modena Kart to set the best time in qualifying timed tests, the reigning Italian champion and current leader of the standings after the first test in Triscina got the time record of 55,972. His main rival, Giuseppe Palomba on BirelART-TM of Team LG Motorsprot, with a time of 56.124, is just over a tenth. Excellent performance also by Davide De Marco, on Team Driver's KR-Iame, author of the third time in 56.259, and his teammate Danilo Albanese who stopped the clock just 10 thousandths of a second behind in 56.269. Among the best also Mirko Mizzoni (Italcorse-TM) fifth in 56.365, ahead of Giuseppe Fusco (Tony Kart-Vortex) in 56.392, and with the same time at the thousandth Luigi Di Lorenzo (BirelART-TM), while the Swiss Alexandre Arrue ( TK-TM) got the eighth time in 56.508. Slightly behind the winner of Race 1 in Trscina, the Sicilian Angelo Lombardo (Parolin-TM), with the ninth time in 56.512, while the new entry Loris Spinelli on TK-TM of the TK team failed to do better than the 13th time in 56.780 Kart Technology.

In the MINI International incredible equal time for Nakamura and Przyrowski.
A very close fight is expected in the MINI Group 3 International, confirmed by the incredible speed of the timed practice where the two protagonists of the two series have incredibly achieved the same time: 1.06.042. The two were the Japanese Kean Nakamura-Berta on Team Driver's KR-Iame, best in the first series, and the Polish Jan Przyrowski on Team AV Racing's Parolin-TM, best of the second series. Behind Nakamura were also very fast team mate, Slovenian Mark Kastelic in 1.06.068, and Pole Maciej Gladysz on Parolin-TM in 1.06.110. Behind Przyrowski, among the fastest, there were the Asian Tiziano Monza on KR-Iame of Team Sauber and the American Kai Sorensen on Parolin-TM.

In the National Mini the fastest is Sala.
Very close fight also in the National Mini, with the best time went to Filippo Sala on Team Driver's Parolin-TM in 1.06.886, and an advantage of just 2 tenths on Ludovico Busso on Tony Kart-TM of Team Gamoto in 1.07.169. The third time in 1.07.185, with a gap of just 16 thousandths, went to Sala's teammate, Daniele Schillaci, winner of Race 1 in Triscina. Fourth and fifth times for Fabio Reale on IPK-TM in 1.07.186 and for Andrea Briscino on Tony Kart-TM of Team Newman Motorsport in 1.07.248.

Pole position for Malek in the IAME X30 Junior.
In the IAME X30 Junior the fastest of timed practice was the Slovakian Lukas Malek, on Parolin-Iame of Team Zanchi Motorsport, just over a tenth of a second clear of Flavio Olivieri with Tony Kart-Iame of Team Newman Motorsport in 1.01.410 and two tenths of the winner of the last Triscina race, Manuel Scognamiglio with Tony Kart-Iame of Team Gamoto. The fourth time in 1.01.490 was achieved by Valerio Proietti with KR-Iame of Team Giugliano Kart, fifth Vincenzo Scarpetta with Tony Kart-Iame also from Team Newman Motorsport. Sixth time for the Ukrainian Oleksandr Bondarev of CKC on Tony Kart-Iame, just 5 thousandths ahead Sebastiano Pavan of Team Driver on KR-Iame.

In the IAME X30 Senior Comanducci leads in Sarno too.
The dominator of the first round of Triscina of the IAME X30 Senior, Cristian Comanducci on Tony Kart-Iame of Team PRK, also asserted his supremacy in Sarno, taking pole position for just 76 thousandths of a second on Danny Carenini on Tony Kart-Iame of the Autoeuropeo Motorsport Team, followed by the other driver of the Autoeuropeo Team Filippo Croccolino just over two tenths of a second. Fourth time for Liberato Milano of Team T Motorsport in 1.00.113 also these on Tony Kart-Iame, while the winner of the Italian X30 Junior Championship Francesco Pulito on CRG-Iame of Team Sporting Club Martina claimed his fifth time in 1.00 .121. Sixth time for the other Team T Motorsport driver, Alessandro Lizio in 1.00.129.
