The event, with a new name, ERDF Masters Kart, and a new format featured “stars” and “juniors” battle each other in breathtaking matches including semifinals and final race on Saturday Decmeber 10th and sunday December 11th. Among the “stars” a leading role over both days went to Jean-Eric Vergne (officialized as 2012 Formula 1 Toro Rosso driver a few days after the event): second on Saturday behind Ferrari’s third driver Bianchi and first on Sunday.
Instead, among the Juniors a double victpry went to the Monegasque Leclerc, who was able to keep the Frenchmen Ocon and Bocolacci in line in Saturday’s final and led over Boccolacci, again, and Hubert on Sunday.
