CKR Super Cup 2018

We don’t always get what we deserve: this happened with the result of our team last weekend in the Super Cup at Genk.

Our driver Lorenzo Giannoni, doubtlessly, could have been in the top ten.

Lorenzo with his CKR chassis has achieved a binomial of high competitiveness level, also taking in consideration his debut on this track.

Unfortunately, this time, a series of adversities played against us:

During the free practice, reaching a competitive time of 42.8”, some technical engine problems led us to race the qualification heat in a technical uncertainty situation, which has penalized the result positioning us in the 18° P for the qualification manches.
Lorenzo has faced and managed the adversity obtaining a 6 °, 4 °, 10°, 21° and a spectacular 7th position. However, due to the typical collisions of these races and to the related penalties of the front spoiler, we have seen dissolve the Final. It is a shame!

Our team deserved much more, we did a great job and Lorenzo battled as ever against all odds.

We let this disappointment in the past and use it as a reason for the future.

Moreover, we recognize the big efforts made by our international teams and their drivers: Joost Elshuis and Justin Van Der Schaft (CKR Holland team), Ronny Tabakovic (CKR Germany team) Jimmy Deveen (DVN team racing - CKR Belgium). We are sure that it has been an enriching experience for all of us.

Thanks to our guys: Michele Zampieri, Matteo Barbieri, our motorist Leonardo Viti and “dad” Gianonni!
