HOT NEWS - TKART - Circuito Int. De Zuera (Zuera - Spain) – Already leader of the Championship before Zuera, he consolidates even more his leadership win a direct win on his teammate, Marco Ardigò.

A final, the one of KZ category in Zuera, which is made of actually two different races. The first has been ran until the fifth lap and sees the perfect start from Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart/Vortex) in front of team mate Marco Ardigò. Behind them an aggressive Jordon Lennox-Lamb (BirelArt/Parilla) who seems to be able to keep the pace of the two at the front, confirming improvement of performance on Sunday compared to previous days.

At the second lap Ardigò passes in front and stays there until lap 11. Behind the two Tony Kart/Vortex, Lennox-Lamb, on the fifth lap, defends himself with decision and no real doubt from an attack made by Ben Hanley (Croc Promotions/TM Racing). The two come to contact and Hanley looses positions going back to sixth. Here the first part of the race ends, with the two Tony Kart that find themselves suddenly with 2 seconds of advantage on all the rest, so they can make a race on their own.

The second race is in fact a very long 12 laps full speed race. Ardigò keeps the lead until 5 laps to the end, moment in which Camponeschi overtakes perfectly and from there onward it is a race ran for every thousand of a second. Camponeschi manages to keep Ardigò at a sufficient distance and wins, improving his leadership in the Championship. But his win is also psychological, because for the first time he manages to conquer first position over his team mate in a direct battle.

Behind drivers are not slower, looking at lap times. Lennox-Lamb is far from the duo at the front, but runs fast. At his back arrives and finishes a furious Hanley, who actually sets best lap time of the race with a 1:00:429, compared to a 1:00:515 of the winner. The two end up fourth and fifth, but a penalization of one second given to Lennox-Lamb inverts the positions.
Fifth is Anthony Abbasse (Sodikart/TM Racing), who seems to be able to battle for podium in the first part of the race. A good recovery by Bas Lammers (FK/Parilla), who ends up 7th, after having caught up by 8 positions.

Paolo De Conto (CRG/Maxter) does not even take part to the final, as he had done well in the prefinal, but had also stopped to fix his front bumper that had follen down… not allowed!
