Following the new guidelines of the Italian Government and of the various Regions, from the second week of May go-kart tracks have started to reopen their gates for tests and practice sessions, reserved, at the moment, for drivers with a regular license.
In fact, Italy seems to be headed towards a partial back-to-normal status, or at least the situation has reached a stage that allows operators in the karting sector to reopen with due precautions.

On Friday 8 May, the Adria Karting Raceway welcomed the first drivers, while the following day, Saturday 9 May, operations also resumed at the Pista Azzurra in Jesolo.

All activities will take place behind closed doors and with mandatory reservations. Each person who enters the kart track must provide the self-certification required for travelling and all must comply with the protocol for individual tests drawn up by ACI Sport, which includes, among other things, measurement of body temperature at the entrance and serological tests in case of symptoms compatible with those of coronavirus.

Adria Karting Raceway is to stay open every day, but, as mentioned, drivers are not allowed without prior online reservation.
As for the Pista Azzurra in Jesolo, however, the next scheduled opening days are those of Thursday 14, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May.
