After a successful start to their 2019 race season last weekend, PSL Karting, BirelART North America, and some of their dealers will travel to Miami Gardens, Florida for the opening round of the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour this coming weekend. Taking place on a temporary circuit adjacent to the Hard Rock Stadium where the NFL’s Miami Dolphins play, nearly twenty drivers will enter a variety of different classes as they look to put the BirelART product line on the top step of the podium.

“It is another big weekend for us and our race program in Florida,” explains PSL Karting’s Dominic Labrecque. “We welcome some new and returning drivers to the BirelART family as we look forward to utilizing ROK power plants this weekend in our goal to claim race wins, podium results and have a good start to the 2019 Florida Winter Tour championship.”

In the headline ROK Senior class two international drivers will look to battle at the front of the field. Brazilian Arthur Leist and Italian Emilio Cipriani will race out of the PSL Karting stable with the hopes of taking their BirelART chassis to the front of a talent filled field in ROK Senior.

Floridian Mathias Ramirez will lead the way in the ROK Shifter field as he will be joined by a quartet of drivers combined from both the PSL Karting and Prime Power Sport programs. Davide Greco, Dominic Legrand and Owen Clarke will fly the PSL Karting colors with Ramirez while Randy Tang will compete with Trevor Wickens’ Prime Power Team.

BirelART will enter a pair of drivers in the ROK Masters class as Michel Legrand will be joined by Martin Janson, as the Canadian duo departs their cold homeland for some fun in the Florida sun and some of the best karting competition that North America has to offer.

Prime Power Team is bringing another big squad to this weekend’s event and will be the home of two BirelART drivers in ROK Junior as Mac Clark and Conner Pritiko look to the pointy end of the field in Miami. Prime Power Team will also enter Frank Esposito in the Mini ROK class as he will be joined by PSL Karting’s Caleb Gafrarar.

Five BirelART competitors will enter the Briggs & Stratton 206 divisions as Michael Aubin and Jordan Prior do battle in the Senior class and Caleb Baxter, Marco Filice and Rich Folino will see action in 206 Junior.

Labrecque continues, “The Florida Winter Tour is one of the best programs in the country and is important for us as a team and a brand. We have had much success in the past and are looking to continue with that momentum in 2019.”
