The fourth round of the Italian Championship has taken place at the Adria Karting Raceway with nearly 300 drivers on track in the eight categories on track, with Entry Level alongside them.
Maranello Kart has been protagonist in Adria in KZ3 with Cesari (Junior), Zanotti (Under) and Tonoli (Over). Zanchetta had to retire due to a puncture in KZ2. Iodice took the win in Siena’s KZ3 Under, while Hold and Stumpf got good placings in Wackersdorf.

Kart steering is far more complex than a simple system for turning the front wheels on a bend. Its operation uses the Ackermann system: a revolutionary solution invented and patented in 1817 to optimise the direction of the front tyres and, consequently, driving around a bend.

At its meeting on 19th June 2017 in Geneva, the FIA World Motor Sport Council took the following decisions on the basis of the proposals of the International Karting Commission.
Ralf Schumacher, owner of KSM Motorsport and team manager of the KSM Schumacher Racing Team, is setting-up a second kart team called „Schumacher Racing Team“ with immediate effect. The team manager will be 46-year old German Stefan Bongartz.
