World Championship 2011: Suzuka - Saturday: qualifyings

11:13 am - Ignazio D'Agosto (Tony Kart/Vortex) got Saturday's pole position. By a mere 8 milliseconds, the Italian driver came ahead of Karol Basz (RK/BMB), Alexander Albon (Intrepid/TM) and Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart/Vortex). Except for Basz, the other three drivers just mentioned are all still "fighting" for the World Championship title. Nyck De Vries, the general standings leader, came in only 14th. The battle for the final title is still wide open. The track is now totally dry, though still slippery (as most of the drivers reported during the qualifying session), and the temperature is above 20°C. Overall, it's a rather warm and sunny Saturday.
