A UN MESE DALL’EFFETTUAZIONE DELLA GARA CHE SI DISPUTA ALLA PISTA 7 LAGHI DI CASTELLETTO, SONO GIA’ OLTRE 180 GLI ISCRITTI NELLE CATEGORIE KZ2, KF3, KF2 E 60 MINI. LA MANIFESTAZIONE SARA’ TRASMESSA IN TV SU NUVOLARI, RAI SPORT E LE PRINCIPALI EMITTENTI NAZIONALI.
Parma, 20 febbraio 2011. A un mese di distanza dall’effettuazione del 22° Trofeo Andrea Margutti, sono già oltre 180 gli iscritti all’importante manifestazione che si disputerà dal 18 al 20 marzo alla Pista 7 Laghi di Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia).
La classica gara internazionale, istituita in memoria del giovane Andrea Margutti e inserita nel calendario CIK-FIA, è aperta alla partecipazione delle categorie KZ2, KF3, KF2 e 60 Mini in lizza per lo Junior Trophy.
Fra le maggiori novità di quest’anno, ci sarà una importante copertura televisiva a cura di Aci Sport Italia, che proporrà le immagini della manifestazione sul canale satellitare e digitale terrestre Nuvolari, su Rai Sport e sulle principali emittenti nazionali.
Testimonial della manifestazione per il secondo anno consecutivo è Andrea Bertolini, campione del mondo FIA GT con la Maserati e collaudatore della Ferrari, che con la propria presenza onorerà il ricordo di Andrea Margutti, fra l’altro suo compagno di karting alla fine degli anni Ottanta.
Fra le iscrizioni già pervenute in rappresentanza di 22 paesi, in KF3 spicca la presenza di Kevin Lavelli (Top Kart), vincitore assoluto dello scorso 40° Trofeo delle Industrie (nella foto), e di “Speedy” Antonio Fuoco, che quest’anno si ripresenta in pista con i colori della Comer.
Fra i sicuri protagonisti, anche Esteban Ocon (FA Kart), che lo scorso anno si piazzò secondo, Slavco Ivanovic (Tony Kart) della Baby Race e il russo Nikita Sitnikov (Birel).
In KF2 ha confermato la sua presenza l’inglese Max Klinkby-Silver (Birel), rivelazione alla recente Winter Cup, Giuliano Niceta, campione del mondo KF3 nel 2009, e Loris Spinelli, vincitore del Trofeo Margutti KF3 dello scorso anno, questi ultimi due in gara con Top Kart. Con Formula K sarà presente Federico Savona.
Fra i protagonisti, anche Stefano Cucco (Birel) con il team MGM.
Nella categoria più performante, in KZ2 è attesa la prova della velocissima olandese Beitske Visser (Intrepid), sempre più in evidenza in tutti gli appuntamenti internazionali. Fra i maggiori favoriti, anche la coppia della Formula K Antonio Piccioni e il belga Yannick De Brabander, oltre al sardo Luca Tilloca (Crg) che partecipa per la prima volta a questo evento.
Nella classe 60 Mini sono molti i protagonisti che saranno impegnati a prevalere in questa categoria riservata ai giovanissimi da 9 a 12 anni. Fra tutti, i fratelli del team Baby Race, Leonardo e Alessio Lorandi (quest’ultimo vincitore della scorsa edizione) ambedue su Tony Kart, il russo Alexander Zhirkov (Birel) e Robert Shwartzman (Tony Kart), lo scorso anno vincitore del Trofeo Nazionale CSAI, oltre a Lorenzo Travisanutto in gara con Energy. Nella 60 Mini gareggerà anche il giovane Hugo Hakkinen (Crg) figlio del finlandese due volte campione del mondo F1 Mika Hakkinen.
Le iscrizioni sono a numero chiuso: massimo 72 piloti per KF2 e KF3, 51 per la 60 Mini, 34 per la KZ2. La chiusura delle iscrizioni è fissata per il 1. marzo 2011.

THE RACE, DUE IN ONE MONTH’S TIME ON THE 7 LAGHI CIRCUIT OF CASTELLETTO, HAS ALREADY MORE THAN 180 ENTRANTS IN THE KZ2, KF3, KF2 AND 60 MINI CATEGORIES. THE EVENT HAS TV COVERAGE ON NUVOLARI, RAI SPORT AND THE MAIN NATIONAL NETWORKS
Parma, 20th February 2011. With still a month to go until the start of the 22nd Andrea Margutti Trophy, there are already more than 180 entrants for the important event due from 18th to 20th March 2011 on the 7 Laghi circuit of Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia - Italy).
The classical International race, instituted in memory of the young driver Andrea Margutti and part of the CIK-FIA schedule, is open to the participation of the KZ2, KF3, KF2 and 60 Mini, competing for the Junior Trophy.
Among this year’s major novelties there is an important tv coverage of the event under the direction of Aci Sport Italia. The event will be on the satellite and DTT channel Nuvolari, on Rai Sport and on the main national networks.
Andrea Bertolini, for the second year in a row, endorses the event. Bertolini, who is FIA GT world champion with Maserati and Ferrari test driver, with his presence will pay a tribute to the memory of Andrea Margutti who, by the way, was his teammate in karting at the end of the 80s.
Among the entrants – there are drivers coming from 22 different countries – the presence of Kevin Lavelli (Top Kart), winner of the last 40th “Trofeo delle Industrie” (in the picture), and of “Speedy” Antonio Fuoco, this year running with the colour of Comer, are outstanding. Also Esteban Ocon (FA Kart), who was last year’s runner-up, Slavco Ivanovic (Tony Kart) of Baby Race Team and the Russian Nikita Sitnikov (Birel) are expected to play a leading role.
Other important drivers confirmed their presence in KF2: the English Max Klinkby-Silver (Birel),the revelation of the recent Winter Cup last edition, Giuliano Niceta, KF3 world champion in 2009, and Loris Spinelli, winner in KF3 in last year’s Margutti Trophy – the last two drivers will be racing for Top Kart. Federico Savona will drive for Formula K. Another sure protagonist is Stefano Cucco (Birel) with the MGM team.
In the most powerful category, the KZ2, there are great expectations for the performance of the quick Danish driver Beitske Visser (Intrepid); she has been always among the best drivers in all the recent international meetings. Also the couple of drivers of Formula K, Antonio Piccioni and the Belgian Yannick De Brabander, stand a good chance, together with the Italian Luca Tilloca (Crg), a first timer of the event.
In the 60 Mini there are several protagonists ready to fight in this Junior category (for kids aged from 9 to 12). Above all, the Lorandi brothers, Leonardo and Alessio - the latter is the winner of the last edition – of Baby Race and both on Tony Karts; the Russian Alexander Zhirkov (Birel) and Robert Shwartzman (Tony Kart), the winner of last year’s CSAI National Trophy, besides Lorenzo Travisanutto who races with Energy.
