ART Grand Prix is currently working at Lonato to prepare for the upcoming Trofeo Andrea Margutti. One of the most important race meetings of the whole season, the 33rd Trofeo will be held for the first time at South Garda Racing Circuit in Lonato after being forced to leave its historic running arena at Parma.
The arrival of ART Grand Prix as a Constructor in the challenging karting scene required an intense preparation, but now the on-track results are rewarding the team with its first wins. In the Trophée Vincent Sanchez et Julie Tonelli, disputed at the Lavelanet track in France, ART Grand Prix France official driver Charles Machado cruised to a classic win in the X30 category.

Positive news also came from Great Britain as Alfie Brown, driving for ART Grand Prix official team ZipKart, won the Mini-Max (Rotax) category at Shenington as he cruised to win in the final and also clocked the fastest lap of the race.
The Aucklander Ryan Grant scored his second win of the season in New Zealand after his sensational debut victory at Wellington. The official driver of Paffoni NZ (ART Grand Prix exclusive official dealer) also won the second round of his nation’s CIK Trophy, held at Rotorua.
The ART Grand Prix racing program also made its first steps in Brazil. The TS-01 chassis, homologated for the categories represented in the Brazilian go-kart panorama, has made its first and successful on-track outing thanks to a wide partnership with Aethra - Sistemas Automotivos.
Next weekend, the official drivers of ART Grand Prix will try to increase their score so far by taking part in the Trofeo Margutti. Three Factory Team drivers will be partnered by five members of the Manufacturer-supported Finnish Team. Among others, ART Grand Prix Finland will be represented by rookie Pukema Pasi, a 14-year-old from Tornio who won the 2011 Finnish KF3 Series. A new addition was welcomed in the Factory Team too, as 13-year-old Swiss racer Felix Hirsiger will join Armando Filini and his squad. Hirsiger won the 2011 Swiss Rotax Max Challenge Mini.
The Iine-up will be completed by Valentino Orlandi, set to be fielded in KZ2 by ART’s official dealer for Lazio NKC Racing, directed by Nicola Marcucci. In addition to the Trophy Andrea Margutti, Orlandi will line-up in all the five rounds of the Italian ACI-CSAI Championship schedule.

The Trofeo Andrea Margutti will be a valuable chance to meet two new drivers, Pukema and Hirsiger, and to continue in our development. ART Grand Prix in pista a Lonato nel Trofeo Andrea Margutti
ART Grand Prix è già al lavoro sulla pista di Lonato, per preparare nel migliore dei modi la partecipazione alla 33ma edizione del Trofeo Andrea Margutti. Si tratta di uno degli appuntamenti più prestigiosi della stagione agonistica 2012 che si svolgerà il prossimo fine settimana. Per la prima volta il “Margutti” sarà in scena sul circuito South Garda Karting di Lonato, dopo l’esodo forzato dalla storica sede del circuito di Parma.
L’esordio di ART Grand Prix nell’ambizioso mondo del karting come Costruttore, ha
richiesto un intenso lavoro di preparazione, ma la pista sta ripagando gli sforzi
profusi con la conquista delle prime vittorie. Anche dalla Gran Bretagna sono arrivate ottime notizie. Alfie Brown, pilota del team ZipKart (team ufficiale ART Grand Prix nel Regno Unito) si è imposto a Shenington nella categoria Mini-Max (Rotax), aggiudicandosi la finale e realizzando anche il giro più veloce.
In Nuova Zelanda Ryan Grant ha ottenuto la sua seconda vittoria stagionale dopo
quella centrata nel weekend del debutto a Wellington. Il pilota del team Paffoni NZ, si è imposto anche nella seconda prova del CIK Trophy Neozelandese, disputata sul circuito di Rotorua.
Il programma Karting di ART Grand Prix ha mosso i primi passi anche in Brasile. Il
telaio TS-01, specificamente omologato nella varie classi presenti nel contesto
brasiliano grazie alla partnership con Aethra - Sistemas Automotivos, ha svolto i
primi test in pista con riscontri molto positivi.
Il prossimo fine settimana, i portacolori di ART Grand Prix proveranno ad
incrementare il bottino stagionale scendendo in pista nel Trofeo Margutti, dove
saranno presenti tre piloti ufficiali del Factory Team e cinque della squadra ufficiale finlandese. ART Grand Prix Finland porterà inoltre all’esordio Pukema Pasi, quattordicenne finlandese di Tornio, che nel 2011 si è imposto nel Campionato Finlandese in KF3. Anche nel Factory Team ci sarà una novità nella classe KF3: ad esordire nella struttura diretta da Armando Filini sarà il tredicenne svizzero Felix Hirsiger, messosi in luce nel 2011 grazie al successo ottenuto nel campionato Swiss Rotax Max Challenge Mini.
Sul fronte italiano, è da registrare la presenza di Valentino Orlandi, iscritto nella classe KZ2 dal nostro rivenditore ufficiale per il Lazio, la NKC Racing di Nicola Marcucci. Oltre che al Trofeo Andrea Margutti, Orlandi prenderà parte alle cinque prove del Campionato Italiano ACI-CSAI.

riferimenti che abbiamo ricavato dalla manifestazione dello scorso febbraio, a causa del drastico cambio di condizioni atmosferiche: siamo passati da “zero-gradi” della Winter Cup ai quasi venti che sono previsti per questo weekend. La partecipazione al prestigioso Trofeo Margutti sarà un’ottima occasione per conoscere due nuovi piloti, Pukema e Hirsiger, nonché per proseguire il lavoro di sviluppo tecnico. ART Grand Prix dispute le trophée Margutti à Lonato
ART Grand Prix est à pied d’oeuvre à Lonato où elle prépare le 33ème Trophée Andrea Margutti. Consécutivement à son déménagement forcé de son arène historique de Parme, pour la première fois de son histoire l'un des plus importants meetings de la saison se tiendra sur le circuit South Garda Racing de Lonato.
L'arrivée d'ART Grand Prix sur la scène du karting en qualité de constructeur requiert une préparation intense mais les premiers résultats obtenus en piste sont venus récompenser l'équipe de premières victoires. Dans le trophée Vincent Sanchez et Julie Tonelli, disputé sur la piste française de Lavelanet, le pilote officiel ART Grand Prix France, Charles Machado, a remporté la victoire dans la catégorie X30 (DANS LE FOTO).
Autres bonnes nouvelles en provenance de Grande-Bretagne : Alfie Brown, qui pilote pour l'équipe officiel ZipKart, s'est imposé dans la catégorie Mini-Max (Rotax) à Shenington en assortissant sa victoire du meilleur tour en course.
A la suite de ses débuts sensationnels à Wellington, le pilote originaire d'Auckland, Ryan Grant, a conquis sa deuxième victoire de la saison en Nouvelle-Zélande. Le pilote officiel Paffoni NZ (revendeur officiel et exclusif d'ART Grand Prix) a également remporté la seconde manche du trophée national CIK disputé à Rotorua.
Le programme d'ART Grand Prix au Brésil a lui aussi pris son envol. Le châssis TS-01, homologué pour les catégories représentées dans le panorama du karting brésilien, a fait des débuts fructueux grâce à un large partenariat contracté avec Aethra - Sistemas Automotivos.
