Parte positivamente la WSK Master Series. Nelle tre categorie in cui siamo presenti, KZ1, KF2 e KF3, i nostri piloti sono al vertice ed il materiale tecnico dimostra di essere, come sempre, vincente. Attendiamo il secondo round della Master Series, tra quindici giorni, sul Circuito internazionale Napoli, per vedere i nostri piloti. (segue,ITALIAN - ENGLISH)
KZ1 – Convers fa registrare il secondo miglior crono in qualifica con 45.034. L’ottima performance in qualifica di Armand Convers è, purtroppo, vanificata da una penalizzazione subita dal nostro pilota nella prima manche.
La prima manche è chiusa dal Convers in quarta posizione, ma a seguito di una penalità il nostro pilota sprofonda nelle retrovie.
Le prestazioni di Convers, ripresosi perfettamente da un infortunio extra sportivo, sono di primissimo piano ed in finale-1 arriva un convincente quarto posto, al culmine di una difficile rimonta e contraddistinto da un ritmo di gara costantemente, sul piede del 45.5.
Ottima è anche la crescita dell’altro nostro pilota Zdenek Groman, autore di una progressione perfetta che lo ha portato a chiudere in zona punti la prima finale, con l’undicesimo posto.
Convers porta a termine anche gara-2, la domenica, chiudendo ancora in quinta piazza, con tempi da top. Sfortunato, in questa occasione Groman, costretto al ritiro a soli tre giri dalla fine.
KF2 – Il nuovo arrivato Nicklas Nielsen mostra di trovarsi subito a suo agio con il materiale tecnico a sua disposizione, i telai Mercury ed i propulsori Vortex RAD. Nielsen fa segnare il secondo tempo in qualifica e nelle manche è sempre terzo, conquistando la seconda fila nella griglia della pre-finale.
Ottima è anche la sequenza di risultati di Paolo Ippolito, anch’esso sempre nelle primissime posizioni durante le manche; l’italiano è rallentato da un incidente durante la terza manche che non gli permette di schierarsi al fianco del compagno, ma soltanto in sesta fila.
In pre-finale Ippolito parte subito con decisione e si porta nella scia dei primi, chiudendo quarto. Nielsen è sesto, anche lui sempre nel vivo dell’azione.
In finalissima Ippolito è veloce e lotta a lungo per la conquista di un posto sul podio, alla fine, il pilota italiano si ferma alla quarta posizione, raccogliendo altri punti per la classifica.
Nielsen conclude una finale molto combattuta in nona posizione, dimostrando di possedere un potenziale elevato, che fa ben sperare per il resto della stagione.
KF3 – Luca Corberi si presenta in ottima forma già dalle qualifiche e con il secondo tempo (46.367), sfiora la pole. Nelle manche il nostro pilota lotta sempre nelle prime posizioni, vincendo anche una manche. Anche Alessio Piccini compie un ottimo lavoro con lo staff tecnico ed è molto costante nel corso di tutte e quattro le manche, concluse sempre nelle prime dieci posizioni.
Le pre-finali, visto l’elevato numero di iscritti, ben 75, sono due, Corberi è impegnato ella A e Piccini nella B.
Corberi parte terzo nella sua pre-finale e chiude terzo con tanto di best-lap assoluto in 46.545, tempo imbattuto anche nel corso della finalissima.
Piccini, impegnato nella pre-finale “B” chiude decimo.
In finale entrambi i nostri piloti restano sempre in zona punti e Corberi lotta, per lunghi tratti, per il podio con Roussel, Palou e Jupp. Sotto la bandiera a scacchi sfuma di poco la conquista del podio e Corberi è quinto. Le prestazioni lasciano presagire che nelle prossime gare il podio sarà un obiettivo alla nostra portata, anche in KF3. Per i nostri alfieri la corsa al primo podio stagionale si riaprirà tra quindici giorni, con il secondo round della WSK Master Series sul Circuito Internazionale Napoli.

WSK MASTER. KOSMIC KART CONFIRMS ITS COMPETITIVENESS IN ALL CATEGORIES
The WSK Master Series begins in a good way. In the three categories we run, KZ1, KF2 and KF3 our drivers are at the top positions and our technical material shows to be, as always, winning.
To see again our drivers we have to wait for the second round of the Master Series now, in fifteen days, at the International Naples Circuit.
KZ1 – Convers signs the second best timing in the qualifying with 45.034. The very good performance of Armand Convers was unfortunately fruitless because of a penalty in the first manche, which allows him to end up fourth, but to lose many positions.
Convers’ performances, just recovered by an extra-sporting accident, are excellent and in final 1 he got the fourth position at the end of a difficult fight and in the running of a constant rhythm of 45.5.
The other driver of ours, Zdenek Groman also had a positive growth, author of a very good performance allowing him to gain the first final in the scores, at the eleventh position.
Convers arrives also in race-2, on Sunday in the fifth position, signing the win with top timings. On this occasion the unlucky one was Groman, who was forced to stop three rounds before the end.
KF2 – The new arrival, Nicklas Nielsen soon shows to be at his ease with the technical material he has at his disposition, Mercury chassis and Vortex RAD engines. Nielsen signs the second position in the qualifying rounds while in the competitions he’s always third, gaining the second row at the starting grid in the pre-final. Very good results have also come from Paolo Ippolito, in the very first positions during the manches; the Italian is slowed down due to an accident in the third manche, who prevent him to get a position at the starting grid next to his teammate, but in the sixth row, only.
In the pre-final Ippolito starts fighting strong and soon gets the first positions, ending up fourth. Nielsen is sixth and he also runs fast.
In the very final Ippolito fights for the podium and finally, the Italian driver ends in the fourth position, gaining even more scores for the classifications.
Nielsen gets the ninth position, showing to have a very good potential, who gives great expectations for the rest of the season.
KF3 – Luca Corberi is in very good health since the qualifying and with the second position (46.367) he misses the pole position for a hair’s breadth.
In the manches our drivers is always at the top positions, and wins a manche. Alessio Piccini too, is making a very good work with the technical staff and is constant during his four whole manches which he had always entered in the top ten, always.
The pre-finals are divided into 2 parts since the drivers registered are not less than 75; Corberi runs the “A” group and Piccini the “B” one.
Corberi starts the pre-final in third position and ends up third, signing the absolute best lap with 46.545, remained unbeaten in the very final too.
Piccini, engaged in the pre-final “B” gains the tenth position.
In the final both drivers runs in the leading position and Corberi fights, over and over, for the podium with Roussel, Palou and Jupp. Under the chequered flag he misses the podium for a little and Corberi is fifth. The performances shown make us think we may expect good targets in the next competitions, in KF3 category, too. For our drivers the run to the first podium of the season will start in fifteen days, by the second round of the WSK Master Series at the International Naples Circuit.
