At its meeting on 9 December 2011 in New Delhi (IND), the FIA General Assembly took in particular the following decisions as regards Karting.
International Karting Commission-FIA
On proposal of the World Motor Sport Council, the FIA General Assembly has designated the President, Vice-President and Members of the CIK for the coming year. Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa (BHR) has been renewed as President of the CIK and Mr Kees Van de Grint (NLD) as Vice-President. The following countries will be represented within the Commission: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Luxemburg, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United States
of America and Venezuela.
FIA International Sporting Code
Modifications to the International Sporting Code, proposed by the World Motor Sport Council for implementation as from 1st January 2012, were approved. In particular, the following amendments were made:
National Event (Article 18):
- The obligation to be holder of an international licence for any foreign Driver or Competitor (Entrant) participating in a national Karting Event entered on the calendar of an ASN, for which the said ASN authorises foreign participation.
- The obligation for licence holders entered in a national event to have obtained the authorisation of their own ASN.
- Foreign Drivers and Competitors (Entrants) cannot gain points in the rankings of national Championships and Series that they take part in.

Right of issuing licences (Article 110):
- Each ASN shall be entitled to issue licences to its nationals and, possibly, to the national of other countries represented on the FIA, in compliance to the existing statutory conditions, plus a new condition for Drivers aged less than 18 years, who must provide an attestation that they are in full-time education in the country where they apply for the licence.

Rules of Procedure for the FIA Anti-Doping Committee (ADC):
- In order to strengthen the ADC operation, in particular by increasing the number of its members and by clarifying certain rules of procedure, amendments to the Rules of Procedure have been adopted.
Judicial and Disciplinary Rules
The General Assembly approved, for implementation as from 1st January 2012, a reduction of the appeal fee before the International Court of Appeal. The current fee is 12,000 , irrespective of costs. As an exception, the amount of the appeal fee for the Karting events is set at 6,000 , also irrespective of costs.

DECISIONS DE L'ASSEMBLE GNRALE DE LA FIA CONCERNANT LE KARTING
L'occasion de sa runion du 9 dcembre 2011 New Delhi (IND), l'Assemble Gnrale de la FIA a pris, entre autres, les dcisions suivantes en matire de Karting :
Commission Internationale de Karting-FIA
Sur proposition du Conseil Mondial du Sport Automobile, lAssemble Gnrale de la FIA a dsign le Prsident, le Vice-Prsident et les Membres de la Commission CIK pour lanne venir.
Le Cheik Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa (BHR) a t reconduit en tant que Prsident de la CIK, de mme que M. Kees Van de Grint (NLD) dans son rle de Vice Prsident. Les pays suivants seront reprsents au sein de la Commission : Allemagne, Argentine, Australie, Autriche, Bahren, Belgique, Brsil, Croatie, Danemark, Espagne, Etats-Unis d'Amerique, Finlande, France, Grande-Bretagne, Grce, Inde, Italie, Japon, Luxembourg, Mexique, Monaco, Norvge, Pays-Bas, Pologne, Portugal, Republique Cztehque, Roumanie, Russie, Slovnie, Sude, Suisse, Turquie et Venezuela.
Code Sportif International de la FIA
Des modifications du Code Sportif International proposes par le Conseil Mondial du port Automobile pour application partir du 1er janvier 2012 ont t approuves. Les amendements suivants ont notamment t apports :
preuve nationale (Article 18) :
- Obligation dtre dtenteur dune licence internationale pour tout Pilote ou Concurrent tranger participant une preuve nationale de Karting inscrite au calendrier dune ASN, preuve dont ladite ASN autorise la participation trangre.
- Obligation pour les licencis trangers engags une preuve nationale davoir autorisation de leur propre ASN.
- Les Pilotes et Concurrents trangers ne peuvent pas marquer de points dans les classements de Championnats ou Sries nationaux auxquels ils participent.

Droit de dlivrer des licences (Article 110) :
- Chaque ASN est habilite dlivrer des licences ses ressortissants, ainsi ventuellement qu ceux dautres pays reprsents au sein de la FIA conformment aux conditions statutaires actuelles, auxquelles sajoute dsormais une condition supplmentaire pour les Pilotes de moins de 18 ans, ceux-ci devant fournir un certificat attestant quils suivent des tudes temps complet dans le pays o ils font leur demande de licence.

Regles de procdure pour le Comit Anti-Dopage de la FIA (CAD) :
- Afin de renforcer le fonctionnement du CAD, notamment en augmentant le nombre de ses membres et en clarifiant certaines rgles de procdure, des amendements aux Rgles de Procdure ont t adopts.
Regles judiciaires et disciplinaires
LAssemble Gnrale a approuv pour application partir du 1er janvier 2012 une rduction du droit dappel auprs de la Cour dAppel Internationale. Le droit actuel slve 12 000 , quels que soient les cots. Exceptionnellement, le montant du droit dappel pour les preuves de Karting est fix 6 000 , galement quels que soient les cots.
