Pour la deuxième année consécutive, l'usine française Sodikart assurera la fourniture de la 12e édition de la célèbre "Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals".
Plus de 70 châssis ont ainsi été expédiés aux Emirats Arabes Unis, sur le circuit d'Al Ain entre Dubaï et Abou Dhabi. Après avoir ravi les pilotes Juniors en 2010, le leader mondial du karting équipera cette fois la plus prestigieuse des catégories (Rotax Max Senior), avec son châssis SODI ST32 qui a déjà gagné tant de courses depuis près de trois ans avec sa technologie TTT, récompensant ainsi l'excellent travail réalisé par l'usine française l'an passé à La Conca.
Rotax et Sodikart, c’est une histoire de passion partagée qui dure depuis plus de 20 ans. La marque française a toujours cru dans le concept du Rotax Max et continue d’assurer la promotion du moteur le plus vendu dans le monde. “Rotax a une philosophie qui se rapproche de celle de Sodi”, affirme Gildas Mérian, PDG de Sodikart. “Tout est pensé avec beaucoup de professionnalisme, de la fabrication à l’organisation, en passant par la commercialisation, la communication et le service. Avoir Rotax comme partenaire privilégié est une grande fierté pour notre société. Combien d’épreuves dans le monde peuvent se vanter de présenter un plateau composé de plus de 60 nationalités différentes? Absolument aucune !”
Mi-septembre, ce sont 75 châssis Sodi ST32 et plus d’une tonne de pièces détachées qui ont pris place dans trois containers sur un bateau direction Dubaï. “Pour cette finale, il a fallu mettre en place une logistique particulière. Sur le circuit d’Al Ain, le staff Sodi sera composé de 10 personnes qui resteront sur place durant 13 jours ! Comme l’an passé, nous assurerons l’assistance aux pilotes en prodiguant nos conseils tout au long de la manifestation. Nous distribuerons à chaque équipe le “Sodibook”, dans lequel nous livrons un maximum d’informations concernant le montage du matériel, les possibilités de mise au point et l’influence de chaque réglage. A chaque question, une réponse !”
En Italie en 2010, Sodikart avait eu la grande satisfaction de recevoir de nombreux commentaires et remerciements venant des utilisateurs du châssis, vantant les performances du matériel, sa facilité d’utilisation et de réglage, ainsi que de l’homogénéité des châssis fournis. L’épreuve fut particulièrement excitante à suivre et les 12 premiers avaient fini groupés sous le drapeau à damier avec un écart incroyable de deux secondes entre le 1er et le 12e démontrant à quel point le matériel proposé par Sodi bénéficiait d’une qualité de conception et fabrication rare.
Sodi à Al Ain, ce sera une oasis dans le désert avec, comme lors de la précédente édition à La Conca, l’installation d’un “hospitality” qui apportera une touche de convivialité dans cette compétition de très haut niveau, très justement surnommée les “Jeux Olympiques du Karting”.
Les concurrents seront alors les bienvenus pour partager la passion de l’équipe Sodi sous sa structure, avec un premier grand rendez-vous fixé au dimanche 20 novembre : le très attendu tirage au sort des karts entre les pilotes !

Sodi: Official Chassis of Senior Rotax Max Grand Finals!
For the second year in a row, French company Sodikart will provide its chassis for the 12th edition of the famous "Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals". Over 70 chassis have been dispatched to the circuit Al Ain, between Dubai and Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). After delighting Junior drivers in 2010, this time the world leader of karting will supply the most prestigious of categories, Senior Rotax Max, with its SODI ST32 chassis - which has already won a stunning number of races in almost three years thanks to its TTT technology - a recognition of the excellent work made by the French company at La Conca last year.

Rotax and Sodikart have shared their common passion for over 20 years. The French make has always believed in the Rotax Max concept and continues to secure the promotion of the engine most sold in the world. «Rotax has a philosophy that closely resembles Sodi’s», said Gildas Mérian, Sodikart CEO. «Professionalism is the defining element, from manufacturing to organisation, not to mention marketing, communication and service. How many events in the world can gather a group of participants composed of drivers of over 60 different nationalities? Absolutely none!»
In mid September, 75 Sodi ST32 chassis and over a ton of spare parts were placed in three containers loaded on a ship to Dubai. «For this finals, a particular logistical approach was adopted. The Sodi staff present at the circuit of Al Ain will count 10 people, who will stay on the spot for 13 days! As last year, we will ensure assistance to drivers by providing advice throughout the event. We will give each team a «Sodibook», which contains a lot of information about kart assembly, set up options and the effects of each adjustment. There will an answer for each possible question!»
In Italy, in 2010, Sodikart had the great satisfaction of receiving many positive comments and thanks from its chassis users, stressing the good performances of karts, their easiness of use and set up as well as the uniform level of the chassis provided. It was a very exciting event to follow and a very close race too, with the first 12 drivers taking the chequered flag with am incredible 2-second gap between the winner and the 12th, which proved that the chassis provided by Sodi had a quality of design and manufacturing that is rarely found.
At Al Ain, Sodi will offer an oasis in the desert, like at the previous edition at La Conca, with a «hospitality» facility that will add a touch of user friendliness to this top level event, rightly nicknamed the «Olympic Games of Karting».
Drivers will therefore be welcome to share the Sodi team passion under its structure, with a first grand rendezvous on Sunday, November 20th: the much awaited kart allocation to drivers by drawing lots!
