VITTORIA E PODIO NEL MONDIALE DI GENK
L’appuntamento iridato della KF1 a Genk ha visto vincere il Tony Kart Racing Team la prima gara di sabato e sul podio la domenica. Questi risultati hanno permesso a Flavio Camponeschi di salire in terza posizione nella classifica di campionato.
Dopo un brillante inizio con la pista asciutta, la Coppa del Mondo di KZ1 è sfuggita al marchio di Prevalle , complice anche una situazione meteo che ha alterato le condizioni tecniche in pre-finale.
KF1 – La prima giornata di gara (sabato 3) sulla pista belga si apre con una perentoria pole ed un altrettanto convincente successo di Camponeschi. Il pilota, scatta dalla pole e grazie anche ad un mezzo perfetto, pone tra se e gli avversari un gap incolmabile già dopo pochi passaggi. Il successo è arricchito anche dal best-lap, ottenuto con il tempo di 53.016.
Nella seconda gara l’epilogo è decisamente meno felice per i colori Tony Kart. Camponeschi, guida tutta la gara e solo nel corso dell’ultimo giro si difende, correttamente, dagli attacchi di un avversario (De Vries). Purtroppo l’esuberante attacco del rivale causa l’uscita di pista dell’incolpevole Camponeschi, che perde così una posizione sul podio certa.
I piloti Kanamaru, D’Agosto e Camponeschi si confermano protagonisti anche nelle due gare della domenica, mostrando come i Racer EVRR e tutto il material tecnico sia estremamente competitivo. Proprio il pilota giapponese ha lottato per il podio nella prima finale della domenica ed è stato estromesso dalla corsa da un contatto avvenuto negli ultimi giri.
Camponeschi conferma ancora le prestazioni top conquistando il secondo podio del weekend, giungendo terzo nella gara-2 della domenica.
La classifica generale (sub-judice per un ricorso) vede Camponeschi (punti 129) e D’Agosto (113), rispettivamente in terza e quarta posizione, quando mancano alla fine del campionato mondiale gli appuntamenti di Sarno (Italia 14-15 settembre) e Suzuka (Giappone 12-13 novembre).
KZ1 – Lo sfortunato epilogo della Coppa del Mondo non deve tradire, infatti i Racer EVRR motorizzati Vortex hanno recitato un ruolo da protagonisti, permettendo a Dreezen ed Ardigò di concludere le manche in terza e settima posizione, con un successo e piazzamenti sempre nei primissimi.
La pioggia caduta nella mattina di domenica, poco prima della pre-finale della KZ1 ha sconvolto le carte in tavola. In pre-finale Dreezen e Catt, anch’egli scattato da un ottima quinta fila, sono stati eliminati da avversari che hanno tenuto comportamenti piuttosto arrembanti.
Le mutevolissime ed imprevedibili condizioni dell’asfalto hanno fatto il resto, contribuendo in modo importante a scompaginare una situazione tecnica che, altrimenti, avrebbe visto i colori Tony ancora tra i protagonisti assoluti.

VICTORY AND PODIUM IN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP HELD IN GENK
On the occasion of the rendez-vous of the KF1 category in Genk, we were winners in the first race on Saturday and got a podium on Sunday. By this result, our driver Flavio Camponeschi has now upgraded to the third position in the Championship’s classification. After a very good beginning on the dry track, we unfortunately missed the World Cup in KZ1 category, also because of weather conditions which made our technical decisions changing during the pre-final.
KF1 – The first day of competitions (Saturday 3rd) opens on the Belgian circuit with a final pole and another good success of Camponeschi. Our driver sprang from the pole also thanks to the perfect chassis, becoming unreachable thanks to the big gap between him and other drivers, after a few rounds. The success has been soon also enriched by a best lap obtained with a timing of 53.016.
In the second race, the final has not been so lucky for our colours. Camponeschi drove as leader over the whole race and in the last round he needed to fight against an attack from a rival (De Vries) which he fairly faced. Unfortunately, this made Camponeschi go off the track, losing the podium.
Our drivers Kanamaru, D’Agosto and Camponeschi confirmed to be the protagonists also is the Sunday races, showing off the high competitiveness of both Racer EVRR and all technical material. Our Japanese driver fought for the podium during the first final on Sunday but was then put out of the race due to a slight collision occurred in the last rounds.
Camponeschi still confirmed his top performances by gaining the second podium during the weekend, and a third position in the race-2 of Sunday.
The general classification (upon sub-judice’s decision ) sees then our drivers Camponeschi (129 points) and D’Agosto (113), third and fourth positions respectively, before the last appointments of this World Championship in Sarno (Sept. 14th – 15th , Italy) and Suzuka (Nov. 12th – 13th , Japan).
KZ1 – Despite the unlucky ending of the World Cup, our Racer EVRR chassis powered by Vortex engines, still give prove of the protagonists’ role they played, with Dreezen and Ardigò gaining the third and seventh positions, with a success that put them between the very first places. The heavy rain during the morning, fell right before the pre-final in KZ1 category, shifted our ground. During the pre-final Dreezen and Catt, coming from the fifth position too, were both eliminated from rivals which behaved quite threatening.
The fast and unforeseeable asphalt settings, due to the changing weather, got their last contribution to make the technical situation unmanageable, which in different conditions would have still confirmed its prime role.
