  • The final of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy sees a three-way battle between Dan Allemann (Switzerland), Lyuboslav Ruykov (Bulgaria) and Jakub Gasparovic (Slovakia). On the last lap, Allemann finds himself in the lead, but fearing an overtaking by Ruykov he begins to close all the corners early. The Bulgarian thus tries to attack the Swiss on the outside at the last hairpin, but Gasparovic takes advantage of this to mock both of them and thus win the race.
  • The podium saw Allemann second and Ruykov third, but the stewards intervened after the awards ceremony: the former received a five-second penalty for having come into contact with the Bulgarian on the last lap, while the latter was even disqualified from the final.
  • Place of honor thus goes to Wian Boshoff (South Africa), who moved up 13 positions compared to the start. Allemann is third, Andrea Marsella (Italy) is fourth, finally  Aleix Pinera Rusinol (Spain) is fifth.
  • The top ten ranking continues with Ky Burke (Australia) and Reaan Dharmadasa (Sri Lanka), respectively authors of two good comebacks of 18 and 26 positions. Eighth place for Fausto Arnaudo (Argentina), ninth for Martim Barros Meneses (Portugal), tenth for Raphael Gebara (Brazil), eleventh for Gilles Herman (Belgium).
  • It all happens at the first corner of the first lap, with eight drivers forced to retire. Among these are Nikolaos Karagiannis (Greece) and Lilian Soares (France), both of whom started from the front row.
